Good luck.*
Couldn't say it better. That's why I labelled it in the title as "MADP 2019" with the info in the descriptions, meaning it's a drum class. . For the information of everyone, when you are in the drum class one of the things you study is about patterns and rudiments. Our teacher is basically showing the application through this song. Another example of complex pattern is the song titled "Nadarang". . If they want to see something that aligns to the notion of discipline and simplicity, then they can check the Rosanna cover. And again, i've explained it in the description that what sir Alba really encouraged is to only play what is required. . Thank you @JepOnDrums TV for pointing it out. =)
For everyone who is new to drumming or just watched this video to listen to the music, then you might be confused, this is a Master Class Session, and Michael Alba is maestro in drumming, on this session he introduce to the music the possibilities of control, ghost notes, and precision in drumming, - so think about it, a Funky music, where he demonstrated how you incorporate such advance drumming skills and Double Triple Paradiddle methods of drumming. you cannot, use this as a reference for just normal playing, rather a master-skillset for your drumming arsenal. God Bless you Michael Alba
First time kita napanuod and nagdadrums din ako pero kakaiba yung style niyo sir. Meron ba kayo workshops diyan.
Exactly. For me basic ang cardinal rules para sa isang good drummer: 1) Tumugtong nang naaayon sa hinihingi ng kanta 2) Wag magpasiklab kung di naman kailangan 3) Emphasize more on groove just enjoy the music. Isipin mo yang drum kit parang babae na katalik mo. DAGDAGAN MO NG LIBOG hahahaha LESS IS MORE Magaling din naman si Mike Alba pero preferences lang I guess

Lenard Adorable Zildjian is a cymbal company, pearl is a drum company po they are different ☺️ Also, pearl drums is not his. That's a kit we borrowed in that place po. He formerly carry Gretsch but now he's a Ludwig endorser.
Andaming drummers na nagkiclinic na using appropriate songs para ishowcase yung kailangan nila ishowcase like this case ghost notes and dynamics. Some are writing their own songs just to justify yung tinuturo nila. Di po ako drummer. But I am a musician. I have written songs and most of their parts not just lyrics and melodies and typical stuff. But Rock with You meant to be groovy. Kung may galit sakin please enlighten me.
Ps. Then syempre sometimes napapanood ko sya through him.
Hahahaha styles and preference sir
Actually Kurt, you misjudged. I'll enlighten you. This is a drum workshop okay? So, need ni Alba idemonstrate ang core strengths na dapat meron ang drummer like on this one, he demonstrated the power of ghost notes and putting drama on your playing with still accurate timing. The intention is not to perform the song but to compliment the song to illustrate his lesson. Now, ang mali naman sayo "You judged the whole thing as if this was a gig". You said you are not a drummer, EXACTLY! that's why you probably do not understand the thing and thinking na "ay ang gulo naman ng palo this is not music" now from a drummer's perspective like me, actually there is nothing wrong with it. Now, Michael Alba is one of the maestro natin sa pinas you won't see him in live na ganyan pumalo ever he is one of the most discplined musician I ever met and watched live kaya I strongly disagree on how you judged this one. In conclusion, there is a time and place for everything AND there is no right and wrong way to play music. Judge accordingly bro ;)

@@Nariji197 i dont think they misjudged in this case. They were just stating their preferences.
