@@sinisterisrandom8537 We always run on a battery, but I do think it's possible to increase the battery life having a supporter/partner. having friends and a coping mechanism goes far.
I'm getting less introvert and more shy/socially awkward. We introverts aren't shy, and we don't all struggle with self-esteem ossues. If we want to talk to someone we'll come out and do so. It's more a question of how we spend and build energy. Social interaction and small talk drains us, while spending time alone listening to music, watching videos, curled up in a blanket, reading a book etc. helps us regain energy. Because we have to recharge after social interaction we're selective about who we spend our time and energy on. If an introvert is taking time to talk to you consistently consider yourself lucky - they are showing that you are worth the time and energy to talk to and they genuinely want to get to know you. It's not about the quantity of friends but the quality of friends.
