I have to be honest. Stelena should have been on this list, too. Because even though I am a FULL Delena shipper, I will go down with this ship and fight anyone who comes at me for it, Stelena's breakup was hard as well. I did cry.. Stefan crying makes you cry, I couldn't help myself. Stefan DID come into Elena' life when she needed him most and with Damon's compulsion from earlier on, it made sense and it was so easy. But Damon is and always will be Elena's true love because, and it almost pains me to say it because of my reality lmao, but you need someone who challenges you to get out of your comfort zone and Stefan only wanted to keep her in it, safe, easy. He was a good guy, but even without Damon, I doubt it would've lasted any longer than it did.

i'm pleased cos I've never met a DELENA shipper that gives STELENA the credit it deserves. I personally prefer Stelena but I acknowledge that Delena is great my only issue is that Elena just threw out her morals out,what i loved most about them before they got together is that they challenged each other. My heart breaks for both though

And now I'm with someone else who also loved him but she's in love with me and I'm in love with her, but I still want him. Every second to imagine him with someone else, him throwing us out over and over, is still destroying me. They talk still. And he seems broken too but not because of me. Because he was always broken. He left me over and over, destroying the good he had in his life for others. And chose them over me. Every time. And no matter his trauma and his pain and regret and doubt the fact is he didn't feel the same way. He wasn't truly in love or devoted to me. He never tried. He left me.
