I never felt more levitated than when Monty Alexander came to town (1975) with the teen-aged Duffy on drums. More memorable than Basie, Duke, Woody, Maynard, Buddy--all of whom made it through in the 70s. Monty outswung them all.
There was another great drum tune from 1959 ( Let there be drums ) by Sandy Nelson ). He had several records in the 60's. Teen Beat and Let There Be Drums were the two highest in the charts.

I have Duffy's CD which is shown at 03:55. It's great.
