The AI update is interesting. You can see them building up tank divisions/motorized for pushes. During my AH campaign i was on the defense against USSR. Id notice them making concentrated attacks in weak points, it was nice to be able to send elite or cav to fill the gaps.
The pausing to explain things is so real to me. I’m such a horrible person to do multiplayer with cause I just keep pausing to sort things out and get my stuff in order and then it all goes to shit when I get more then a couple events or notifications in a row.

Playing this when you don't know what's coming next is pretty much similar to walking on a minefield... except that you have a limited time, everybody is bullying you and British dude want to make it even more difficult for you. Political power juggling during the entire game (even in 1945) also feels weird. But, it was kinda cool experience.
As Austria, you can get Otto as a field marshall, but it's part of the Austrian easter egg. From my playthrough, you must core Switzerland and be in a war. After that, whether the event will pop up is up to RNG.
