I have just finished listening to The Midlife Cyclist on Audible. Highly recommended for cyclists of any age I suggest. Full of fascinating information, advice and much to make us think about our bodies, how we change as we age and how we might adapt our cycling, our diet and many other aspects of our health and exercise. A real bonus to watch this insightful interview with the writer.
I consider myself to be very lucky to meet Phil well over a decade ago when I did my first bike fit training (Phil wrote the course) and consider him still as a mentor , his enthusiasm, passion and attention to detail is always second to none and over time I’ve realised that anyone who was taught by his methodology is probably the place to visit for first class fit. I’m so pleased to see his second book on the way, this is one guy we can all learn from ! Thanks for sharing this
Love the book, have read it twice now & recommended it to loads of people not just cyclists. Will definitely be checking out the new book when it's released.
I liked Phil’s book and look forward to a new one; that said, Joe Friel’s ”Fast after 50” remains a valuable read, which covers both the physiology of ageing in a sports science perspective (extensively referenced) and training recommendations (generalised).

What fortunate timing! I'm glad that worked out so well.

Yep - that’s a good book.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Also, is it just me or does Phil look like what I think Phil Gaimon might look when he gets older :-)
