I'm going to be upgrading to a 24' pontoon soon. Do think with the high pontoon sides a 30lb anchor would be sufficient in a 10 MPH wind, or do you think a 35lb or even a 40lb would be noticeably better?
We are on a soft bottom lake and this anchor will sink in the mud locking the boat really good. This anchor will hold a 24’ pontoon in the same condition. Also 30lbs is a lot to move around specialty when you have to retrieve it from 25-40ft it can wear you out.
