Chia seeds (like on a chia pet) 😆 are very nutritious microgreens alao. And grow on paper towels also like your arugula seeds. I also put chia seeds on salads, soups, yogurt, cereal etc. Very healthy! I love them 😎👍 Note: I get the organic seeds!

I've used one of these methods before but using a jar and egg carton with the paper towel hanging down into the jar of water. We learned how to do it in school for a project. Also I've only seen it a couple, few times now but I love it when Noah signs off! Kinda reminds me of my daughter.

I do mung beans which grow into bean sprouts, because they're only $1 for a 1 lb. bag and because they grow big enough to eat really really fast. Like 2-4 days fast! Most Asian grocery stores sell them.

CGTV Jr. is quite the actor. Love this kid! I save the plastic containers from fresh mushrooms and use them for sprouts and greens. My favorites are radish (peppery), pea (sweet), arugula (spicy) and Fenugreek (legume-y). I really like your technique -well done.

Ive only done this a half dozen times or so, but I’ve had surprisingly good results doing pea micro greens from dried grocery store peas. :) keep in the dark as long as possible to keep them tender.
Popcorn sprouts have a really neat, sweet flavor. But I can’t figure out why some are sweet and some are bitter and sweet at the same time. Haven’t figured out what I’ve done wrong there yet.

For myself, I feel safer if I use plastics that are food grade, we can find those at the Dollar Tree, etc., as well but not all of them are, Sterelite seems to be as it is a 5. So look for the triangle that has arrows with the numbers 1 2 4 and 5 (just remember to forget the 3). I am looking out for this in terms of my growing containers as well, as plastic is something I want to be conscious about for health reasons. I don't know where you live, but in, California, the plants I had purchased in the past have labels on the black containers which warn us that the containers could cause cancer. So, I will not be reusing them. Blessings.
