Discrete Fourier Transform (fft) and Its Applications

This video explains with applications the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and the inverse discrete Fourier transform. It shows the physical meaning of the DFT in determining the frequency content of a signal. Examples and plots are given to show the importance of sampling rate, the length of the sampled signal, and zero augmentation, to improve the frequency resolution of the DFT. Examples with plots are given to show how to get the continuous signal x(t) from the DFT X(k).
