According to legend, once the fans did not have paper, so they asked Mr. Gillan to sign some 5-rouble bank notes. They say that these 5-rouble bank notes were sold later at a price of 500 roubles each. In the former Soviet Union, this could be an excellent way to solve the problem of monetary inflation!
Yeah I prefer the guitar done by Blackmore too. This is a good performance, and one of my favorite Purple songs, I guess if I'd heard it like this in the seventies I wouldn't have become the Purple fan I've been. Really this sounds like a lot of bands out there. Of course I any of the other guitarists would just play a strat standard like Richie always did that alone would bring back as lot of the old sound that many of us miss.

Gilian should use Light Purple instead of Deep Purple.If he still insist of using Deep,he should hv changed it or used it Deep Throat.Spoit the reputation after a long hard work just bcoz of egos

The problem is that they could never play it live with Ritchie. They never did.
Blackmore on guitar is missing.
I don't like Ritchie's playing. But I agree it's missing his soul on this piece.
I dont think they ever played this song live when Ritchie was in the band. Shame though because I thought it was the best song on Machine head.
After hearing the song for over forty years with one guitar solo , it doesn't sound right to have this guy do that
