Rockcastle Speedway - Modified Feature - 10/5/2024

Rockcastle Speedway ended the 2024 points chase with their annual "King of The Rock" race program. Nearly 90 cars were in attendance for the show. The 20-lap feature contest for the Modifieds saw #22 Brian Nantz hold off a hard charging #33 Jeremy Sears to score the victory. Sears, the evenings fast qualifier had issues in his heat and charged from the tail of the field in the main event all the way up to the second place. Nantz started developing mechanical issues in the closing laps but had just enough speed to secure the win. #c8 Jimmy Crabtree finished seventh this evening but it was enough to secure his second straight track championship. Rockcastle Speedway is a 3/8 mile clay oval located near Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
