- We arrive in Costa Maya and rent a golf cart to explore the region. Check out our adventures and see if you'd do the same. We return to the ship for some relaxation and then visit our first specialty restaurant of this cruise.

I agree with you about the speakers, we love music but when am reading or trying to have a relax I like it quiet or just background music off the ship, not other peoples speakers I think it’s quite rude.

Noise pollution is certainly becoming a factor with portable devices - especially in areas where some piece and quiet is expected.
Thank you for some excellent intel. We are visiting Costa Maya in March and are hoping to snag a golf cart as well!

Speakers shouldn’t be allowed outside one’s cabin, IMO. I love Mrs. Canuck’s dress! Sea bass with prawns and surf and turf both looked like good. Caramel crème brûlée cheesecake is what I would have chosen also! Nice to hear your good review of the show, service and crew. Bad to hear they have a show with standing room only. Hate it when luggage tags arrive!
NCL ‘s “Choir of Man “ was the very best production we hav seen.
We love Princess! We loved the Sky Princess and we sail again on the Sky early next year. The Crown Grill is wonderful, and we think that Bistro Sur La Mer is actually better. We loved your video - thank you.

Not a fan of the portable speakers in public areas. I have a couple, but like you it is for personal use and not to make sure everyone else knows my musical tastes 😂.

We've never been to Mexico although we'll probably get there one day. Looks like you had fun on your golf cart excursion but it's a shame the beaches were so littered with both seaweed and garbage. 😒
We really enjoyed our cruise on Enchanted Princess in January. So much so in fact, that we're thinking about doing it again next January. We're looking at another 20 day that would coincide with your group cruise in February. Hopefully we can make it happen! 🤞

Not on Princess, but going on Costa Maya 1/24. Didn’t know you could rent a golf cart there, so good to know. Your hair’s not long enough to have a bad hair day!😂
The cart rental was something different to do but might not be everyone's taste.
We haven’t been on Princess for about 27 years. We took our first trip on them to Alaska. It was a much smaller ship then. I don’t know if I would like them now that they have gotten so big.
We would sure likely them to build smaller ships again. Not sure it's in the cards.
Absolutely no on speakers outside of cabins. Musical tastes are very subjective and ear buds are very inexpensive.
Another great video! How was the service on Sky Princess? I've always had great service. I also am toning down on the carnivore caravan, getting too old for that. The one thing I'm disappointed with Princess is the shower curtains in the shower. Everyone else is putting in glass shower stalls. But that's me. The 60's called, they want their shower curtains back! LOL! Again, great vlog!
Thanks. Yes we prefer the glass showers as well but at least the showers are a little bigger than the Caribbean Princess. Service was spectacular and we are thinking Princess is our current fav line.
@@CruisingCanucks You must not have cruised Regent Seven Seas or Oceania! Yes, you pay more, but you get more. Princess ships are too big for me, and don’t like the idea of shower curtains instead of glass doors. Disturbing and very sad to hear about all the garbage floating by…
On norwegian epic 25$ surcharge for sur and turf. No town animals, no turn down service
Odd. We had turn down in the bizarre cabin. That was August 2022
They just recently stopped the turndown service on Norwegian.

We found that backpack in Long Beach in a clearance rack and haven't been able to find the exact same on online since. We created a link on our website that is the same company with similar backpacks (but not exact) Maybe you can find something close? Go to this thing and scroll to the bottom. How did you do the reservation for the golf cart?
We googled it and found a website. A lot of people were just getting them at the port without a reservation.
How much was the crown grill? Has it gone up to $39?? Thanks. PS great videos

Very elegant combination. I'm a fan of yellow ties. It is not easy to film while dancing but how easy and dangerous to film while driving!!! ...in Mexico!!! Costa Maya is a tourist trap, my opinion.
Costa Maya might be a ship day next time for us.

Royal added speakers to things you can’t bring aboard. I don’t even like that on the beach.
We aren't sure they need to be banned. We bring one to have a few minutes of quiet music in the cabin and leave it there. We feel the same about drones - should be able to bring and use ashore if we like. We don't need to be treated like children and have a blanket policy to punish those that follow the rules. Yes ban and can for stupid things you don't need like guns and weapons.
