Great review, I like the tongue of the boot cause I was a kid in the 1980's and 1990's when I started playing. All boots had a fold over tongue, black, and were all made of leather. I see younger players cutting the tongue since they never grew up with a tongue.

Welcome mate! Definitely a good option along with the Tiempo, GT, and Rebula! If you want ultimate width though, you'll probably have to go for a more classic leather boot like the Morelia 2 🔥
@@NoahCavanaugh I'm currently still wearing my Phantom Vision Elite AGs as that upper has so much give in the midfoot just behind where my little toe is. never really got on with the Dynamic fit collar so have been trying for ages to find something. These, the Rebula MIJ, and even those Puma Future 1.3s all look like they could be fantastic. Time to work out that unlimited free delivery from prodirectsoccer I think !!!

Rewatched this lovely video after buying my second pair recently, the new white and gold one. My first one was the silver and neon yellow. While the more modern Nike’s are all about performance, this one is just a beauty and makes you feel happy owning them, and the affordable price means you can stock up on the colors you love. Nike must consider these as their heritage boots and pay special attention to quality and aesthetics, which also shows with all the awesome colors they still keep launching! Stock up!

Love these boots with artificial grass field. As a causal mid-field player, the touch and control are good for me. And I have slight wild feet， premier 3's very comfortable.

Did u get ur normal size or bigger or smaller because I'm size 14 or 13 honestly not even sure 13 would be a little tight and snug fit and 14 would be more comfortable and open which size do you reckon I should go for (depending on how they fit in your opinion)
Sorry for the late visit. Great video and great review. One question, how do you compare the Premier 3 with the Nike tiempo 9 in terms of touch when dribbling? Wich ones are more agressive and clean, and offer that barefoot feeling?
Thanks mate! They're both pretty similar, the Premier offers a bit more of a seamless touch just because it doesn't have any texturing on the upper or any of the foam inserts like the Tiempo does. Both are leather boots, so neither will provide a "barefoot" feeling. Better off with a "speed" boot if you want a barefoot sensation! 🤝
I would wear the premier 1s back in high school. Loved them so much and I had three pair of them. Only reason I had so many pairs were because they weren’t very durable and wouldn’t last me two seasons. The soles would separate from the upper. Now I prefer something more durable even if it is more expensive

I’ve abused them in Sunday league matches and pickup games during the week for the past two years and they’re still going strong.I would love to see a long term review on a mizuno Morelia mij. I’m trying to justify spending that amount of money on a well crafted, durable boot like those lol I just want a one and done pair for the next 5+ years

@@realmadrid5981 Legend! Such a good pair of boots mate. The MIJs are amazing - I'd absolutely love to wear the Morelias, BUT they don't have the performance that I need for the pro game... Once I'm not playing at a high level any more, I will DEFINITELY be wearing them more often. That being said - I can probably get a pair to start wearing for training every once in a while! Unreal! The Premier line is super underrated - I don't know why Nike doesn't do more ad campaigns for them, especially in the lower price bracket!
@@NoahCavanaugh I think Nike makes way less profit off these boots compared to those plastic 'lightweight' boots they sell for 200 euros. These are probably much more expensive to make and they also sell them for less.

These are not full leather uppers. The lacing area is synthetic, and so is the tongue. Also, only the forefoot is kangaroo leather. The midfoot on back is calfskin leather. If you look at the seam in the midfoot, you see where the kangaroo and calfskin meet.

If I had a pair of Tiempo 3s I would mate! They're fairly similar, although I'd still pick Tiempo 3 elite over most boots! 🔥

That's a great question mate. I like these a lot, and they're a great option for most foot types! I'm not sure how they stack up with any of those as I haven't tried the Neo III Pros or the Legend 9 Pro! 🤝

Nike tiempo legend 9 pro are 130 retail. I got a pair for 100. New Balance have updated their 442 which are similar to the Premier

Hi! When you say "true to size".. does that mean If your foot is 28cm long, you would follow the sizechart and buy the size Nike report to be 28cm? In this case a US 10..
True to size for me means it fits like other US9 boots do!
I have the SG anti clog version. One of most comfortable boots I’ve worn, soo good in the wet with that sole plate.
Fantastic boots for the price would recommend if you can find that sole plate. Especially if you train/play on wet or muddy pitches.

@@mxgrds786 In my opinion they aren't great on a FG surface, feels weird for me personally. I prefer a normal FG boot and just keep the SG pair in my bag for rain/muddy pitches. But yea that sole plate is a treat on a soft field. Hope that helps.
Hey Noah, how would you compare the sizing of the premiers to the nike mercurials? I am size 10.5 in Mercs and I am not sure if I should go with that size with the Nike Premier.

Yep, absolutely mate! Not much you can do as they're leather - and they don't have any lateral stability features

Have you experienced any durability issues with your x speed flow +? I bought a pair and have played two matches, one indoor and one full match and I’m already seeing some of the clear coating on the upper wearing and ripping, on one boot from being stepped on and on the other from dragging my foot a bit on a throw in. I’m hoping this is only cosmetic.
This happened on my speedflow.1 . The upper is tearing a bit after only using them for 1 month
I personally haven't had any issues with mine, but to be fair I only play in them once a week or so at most!
how much toe room do you have? I’m finding it tough to break them in specifically in the toe area; still very tight after 5 uses on turf. waiting for the k leather to stretch.
Tiempos legend 9 tend to stretch more than premiers so far.

For me I have ultra wide feet.. and I have UK 10.5 but in Premier IIIs I went with UK 11.
Same size as tiempos, which also run a bit small. I’m a 9 in adidas and a 9.5 in both my tiempos and the premier 3.
with Mercurial I take a 43 Europa and the shoe is completely adherent to my foot, can I buy a Nike Premier 43 and have the same length, or will it be bigger?
If you like the Mercurial, I'd keep buying those! If you must buy the Premier, stay with your same size🤝
What's the honest opinion for using these on 3/4g pitches ? I've seen people mention front studs aren't long enough but they look same length as front studs on my dedicated AG boots :/
I'd agree mate, I don't know if they're great on 3/4g pitches because of how the studs are. I'd recommend going with an AG Tiempo or NB 442 2.0 🫡

honestly nike should bring back the premier being a top tier boot and pull a marketing masterpiece and make a premier 3 mi and then drop the premier elite for like 175 and they had more kangaroo leather and a better sole plate 🤯

These will fit most foot types, so I’d go with a 42 as well

They're both good mate! I haven't spent much time in the Tiempo Academy, but I'd say these are a better bet

Not at all! These work perfectly well on AG. Because of the round studs, they do a great job allowing for pivot motions without any heartache 🔥

I got these today and they perfectly fit me. But whenever I used to buy cleats they would be very tight and by time it would become a bit loose and perfect. Now these are a perfect fit from the beginning, will it become loose later? Do I need to size down by 1/2?
@@32des I doubt it mate! I'd say stick with these and if they overstretch, you can always double sock until the next time you need a pair - then you go down 1/2 size!

No boot will protect you from studs mate - just part of the game! It's going to be painful regardless of the boots you have, so I recommend getting boots for how well they fit you, not how "protective" they are 🤝

For sure! The studs aren't very long and are conical (round) which is the safest for AG pitches 🤝
If you liked the Premier 2, do not buy the Premier 3. I have a wide foot and the Premier 2 was a great comfortable wide shoe. Nike "was" the brand to go to for wider feet, but not anymore. When the Premier 2's wore out, I bought the Premier 3 (as I could not find the 2). It was a waste of money as the Premier 3 is a very narrow boot. Both boots have a pretty hard insole, so with the 2 I would put a more comfortable insole and thick socks and it was perfect. However, with the 3 I need thin socks and original thin insole, so my feet get very sore after the game. After 5 wears, I've given up, just bought the Asics Tigreor IT FF 2 (2E Wide), looking forward to try them out. The Asics is double the price however.
In the middle of all this, I bought the Asics Lethal Ultimate. Although it is a very comfortable & waterproof leather boot, they are massive & heavy and I couldn't dribble well with them on. Probably good or kids playing on harder ground who are not playing as competitively.
