High End Ceiling Beams Look on a Budget | DIY

I took existing faux beams in a mobile home and restored them painting them and adding to the middle beam. This was 1985 home that by the time we got done with the renovation it looked brand new. You too can update your ceiling beams without going out of budget :)
Ceiling Beams Makeover (paint, restoration, drastic, easy, fake beams, upgrade, manufactured home, cheap)
Paint used: Valspar Signature Satin
Color: Italian Leather
For the middle beams we used 1x8 primed boards

That is an amazing update to an older mobile home. I've tried for years to get my husband on board with the faux wood beams, but he will not go for it. I'm also very happy to see a young woman willing to tackle the jobs you are doing, home DIY does not have to be a man's job. You are a positive example for other young women.

im not sure why but this house reminded me of a house thats a half hour from seattle. (probably because it was made in 1975 for the interior does have a semi similarity) it was a complete replica of the disney snow white dwarf cottage. with two garage doors added. if you get a chance there's photos of it online but unfortunately i cant find the video house tour that shows you the entire interior house. but what photos i found it looks idenitcal to the disney film. it even has a working well. a small fountain in the backyard thats a replica of a fountain in the film. the kitchen has these paint designs that make you think you're in a medieal disney snow white kitchen. if i had a heck load of money and could maintain the acres because if i remember its on a good amount of acres i'd buy , live in it, and live my fairytale fantasy lol!

I dated an idealistic broad like you once. Wanted a fairytale life. I wouldn't play along and it caused a lot of arguments. Eventually she dumped me but it was okay because I did everything in my power to sabotage the relationship. She eventually found and married a guy who would play along. They've been married for like 20 years so I guess he's as bat shit crazy as she is.
