hiiiii Trace!! CONGRATULATIONS for throwing your hat into the ring!! I love that you are starting to show your face and this community!! Love these goodies that you pulled out of the moulds and I can wait to see how you glaze em! Go with your gut and experiment!! Remember, you can always make more! 😘
Welcome Trace! Great first video… you make it look so easy! Your teapot is definitely Mrs Potts! Looking forward to tagging along on your TH-cam journey.
Yeah, Trace! Lovely set but even lovelier to see you back at it. I can’t wait to see it finished and glazed and out of the kiln. Looking forward to it, Liana
@@lianaholtochsner thanks Liana, I’m hoping to get it glazed this week so I can take it the Nats on Friday ready for her next kiln unload but life has been busy. So will have to see.
@@mugnificentpottery Hi Nancy, thanks for the support. I would love to do some gold lustre but we don’t have the right firing schedule. 😔 Beautiful suggestion though.
Hi, Trace! I am finally here watching your first vid. CONGRATULATIONS! Cute set. You will have fun with that. Thanks for sharing and see ya next time❤❤
I wonder if this same process can be used to produce ceramic garden edges/borders for growing beds or the pavement with beautiful flowers as decoration. I saw vid from NY 10 years ago a vid that was most beautiful product. Really cute and pretty product.
@@Adnancorner you could definitely use a slip cast mold for garden beds if you found a suitable one. You could also use a silicone mold like what they use in cake making for fondant. Or you could just roll a flat slab of clay. Use a decorative roller then cut your shape out. So many options with clay. Thanks for watching. Like and subscribe if you want to see the end result. X

Hi Trace! Wow a whole tea SET that matches, what a find!! You're inspiring me, i love the idea of a "mold opening" i always want to film myself slipcasting but get hung up on having to include every step or something. The opening is the best part, right? Anyways, loved it! Make more! I think a mrs potts white and pink would be cute, river birch & soft red or something similar 🫖 unless thats too Nat of a color choice 😆 Black&white would be awesome too
