thanx for the advice, i really thought about a naked bike but i wasn't sure if i would cope with the step up but I'll try and get a test ride and if I'm alright i may take that route, i will also save myself some money.

you will find that you will probably do ur test on some thing like a yamaha xj6 or street triple any way either way it will be a naked bike you do ur test on

complete beginner I've got my cbt next week so i was looking at the Yamaha yzf 125, my plan was to ride that for a few months take direct access course and move up to honda cbr 500r and stay with that until I'm compatent enough to make the step up to super sports. one thing i learned from watching people such as yourself, if you ride sensible and within ones limits you should be ok? and couple that with some advance courses the transition should be a lot more manageable.

hello again i started actually riding bikes in 2010 my first bike was the yamaha yzf r125 i road that for about six years b4 i decided to take my test i would say that the yzfr125 is with out a dought the best 125 out there. if your planning on doing ur direct access are you doing your full bike license? and if u are i would go straight to a 600cc because you will be riding one to do your test and should be used to it by then u may not be 100% with it. and u could get like a street triple or like i did an R6 but thats up to u ;)

hi bro i love the mv but everything I've heard about the bike it's really hard to ride, how long have you been riding? i was hoping that i would be able to get one in about 12 months just trying to gain some more riding experience. thanx be cool and ride safe. do find your r6 easier to ride?

i have had my full licence nearly two years and i have test road this bike a lot since this video and i tried the f4 as well. i found the r6 easy to ride as long as you keep it above 7000rpm its a good bike i loved mine but the f3 800 is a much nicer bike even the f3 675 is gd

so after 2yrs riding experience i should be able to make the transition to super sports like f3? how did you find the f4? do you think you'd be fine riding that as commuter bike or is it to much of handful? thanx for the reply and ride safe.

the f4 was amazing the sound it makes just makes you keep the throttle open. i dont think a f4 is a good commuter as its a lot of money but its a gd toy to have when the suns out on the weekend. and to answer your question about going to a sports bike after two years. yes by all means do it or at least borrow one off a mate for a couple day(s)
what do you ride at the moment?

How tall are you. I have Benelli TNT 1130 which fits me very well at 1.83 m and 90 kilos. I have tried Triumph Daytona 675 and loved it. Very tempted by the MV. Have you bought one yet?
