    Hello mate enjoyed your review am also stepping up from r6 to 2015 r1 am a bit nervous but we see love the r1s

    I wouldn't bother wasting money on upgrading your brake calipers, they won't make any difference due to the R1s unified brake by wire system. remove your seat and have a look at all the plumbing under there, it's still calibrated system that's designed to include the oem calipers and changing the calipers would probably throw throw the system out of whack.
    the stock brakes get better with use, and are plenty powerful for the road, and a bit quirky on track as I found out, but once you get used to them they're fine.

    Step up from a R6 to a Street Triple, wouldn't that be less power? what year was the R6?

      I didn't mean to say step up I noticed I said that after uploading it the r6 was a2014

    How do you find the suspension, firm? overly harsh?

      the suspension firm but not to bad to be fair i ride mine around country roads and its no to bad at all i feel that the r6 was stiffer
