Dudes not a Christian.. do YOU even know what it means to be one? It sure isn’t twisting the truth or the Law that Jesus came to bring. He didn’t come to bring “religion” (religion means to BIND ONES MIND) and this is what the Catholic Church has done since they started when they were slaughtering the early Christians. The actual followers of Christ who actually KNEW Him.. why would they wipe them out and then give the world a book to go by? Did you know the word Vatican comes from “Vaticanus”? Which means “the worship of the devine serpent”. They say Lucifer and Jesus are “closer” than you think. They praise satan by doing so in other names/tongues. It’s a false Christianity. They will give Islam authority to make war on the saints. You’ll see. And if they were of Christ our Lord, they wouldn’t do anything like that.
Don’t believe what you WANT to be true. This guy doesn’t worship the same as you. But keep praying. You’ll be rewarded brother. And I love YOU,my friend. In Christ.

@@Gottislaps Any display of faith in Christ nowadays is considered "Obnoxious" by liberals and makes you a "Zealot" in their eyes. They hate the Christian religion with a passion because it dares to stand up to the world and say "no this thing you love doing is bad for you and you family, and Jesus says stop doing it". They HATE that....Brian would have been better received by the liberal media if he had said "I am a devil worshipper and i like molesting kids"....that's how sad our society is and how far these liberal people have fallen.

Hey man, I have a question about christianity and metal. One thing I do know, is that most (of course not all) of metal has pretty brutal and some may call it satanic lyrics and meanings behind stuff. How do you ''handle'' that as a christian? Isn't it some kind of a sin to support something that is ''against'' God? As I said before, not all metal is like that, of course.

I was really happy when I heard you got saved. I love Korn. You guys are my favorite band from the late 90's. I had a lot of the same issues you guys did back in those days. I would be up for weeks selling shards and listening to Korn. But, like you, somehow God saw me and felt I was worth saving. For me, the hardest part is accepting His forgiveness. It's like, "There's no way I'm good enough for Jesus." Anyway, I ramble. Glad you're doing well. Stay strong, brother.

Pretty much 99% of people in the world are worth saving, because like you, they are all very special and unique. Sadly, a good portion of them just don't know it because they are stuck in some shithole country that is simply exploiting them like Iran or Russia maybe? North Korea sucks big time too. Gotta feel for all the regular "folk" in those places, and one of the main reasons Jesus did what He did. I just hope those people do get another chance at life at some certain future time. I mean, this life can be wonderful and great. Unless you happen to live in N. Korea, right? Those people should get a "Do-over". LOL. Take care, and Crank That Shit UP! Korn Rocks - great band, and great group of guys. Peace friend. (did you know people are executed at half time for entertainment during soccer matches in North Korea for listening to "western music"? honest that shit happens)

We used to call it "First Love" Christianity when a new Christian is just in your face with everyone. That "mellowing" is not losing your religion -- it's called spiritual maturity. You can help a lot more people as a Christian when you spend more time listening and responding with love instead of trying to shove it in everyone's faces. And all the tales I hear about Sonny and you reflect maturity.

@@dougtibbetts857 Calling it "First Love" Christianity is in quotes is because it is a slightly sarcastic misapplication of Rev 2 on purpose. New Christians sometimes "witness" from their own judgmental urging versus being a response in love, like a child interrupting instead of a hand reaching out to help. Long-time Christians sometimes get complacent and that's losing first love. (And long-time does not equal "mature".) But you will never hear me disagree that we gotta REPENT. Peace to you.

I am so glad I seen this. I am 54 now and spent that overwhelming majority of time as a heavy drinker. I almost died in a car accident and had a personal experience with the Lord that night. I made a complete 180 on the spot and made a promise to the Lord to never drink another drop. I was drinking to the extreme as Brian taking drugs to the extreme, and the only way to fill that void is to go all in the other way to the extreme, if there is even such a thing with the Lord. Just look at the man now, he looks peaceful, comfortable, and confident. Yeah, the Lord did that and there is no need for words when the light just shines from you. Thanks for all you will never know about how you helped me Brian, just know that you did.

@@theoldblood3804 I'm a perfect example of how someone could be a Christian but then later reject faith as a reliable method to discerning reality. There is definitely such a thing as "still a Christian" and "no longer a Christian." But of course, some people are going to say I was "never a true Christian" as if living a life entirely rooted in my Jesus belief and making sacrifices of time and money for 20+ years all somehow just didn't happen because I'm now an atheist. That is, of course, a lie they choose to believe because my life doesn't quite follow the narrative they want to be real. I think maybe those people are afraid to be honest. Hopefully you aren't one of those people.

Stay strong Head; your story is an inspiration to all. I've seen so many Christians both high-profile and regular, who come from outside of "church culture" get disillusioned and fed-up with the faith because no matter what they say and do they can never win. They are either criticised for not being Christian-enough or being too Bible-thumping. You're walk with Jesus is your walk, it doesn't have to exactly fit some sort of holy template. He knows your true heart. I'm praying for you brother.

Well it says in scripture that Christians are “ought to be obedient to God” and if you are a Christian then you should know that the Bible is the final authority of God, Christ said if you’re not willing to die why come in the first place? Why come to pretend? Do you use the title “Christian” which means “follow of Christ” and Christ being God in the flesh, which means obedient to God, as some overall social reputation points of saying “I’m such a good person, I’m Christian look at me”. Because I can confidently say majority of people that verbal says “I’m a Christian” is not saved, not generated into a new individual. Now am I judging anyone? No, how exactly can I judge something if it’s already awaiting a death sentence it was deemed at its birth. The overall degrading of the gospel by American culture made void of what the gospel actually means and with American people of course many of them are very prideful and boast in their ignorance that they claim to be wisdom. Who says a man will change another heart of a man when it’s God predestined will to do so when it was “planned” before the foundations of the world. That it’s overall God’s authority to destroy nations and preserve them, God’s will to grant salvation to an individual as well as it is God’s will to take the life He granted to an individual. It’s not some “hey man Jesus loves you and He wants to be your best bro, He wants the best for you my man” because if we’re ministering the gospel like that to anyone, I would really question if you are saved or not.

Becoming over zealous after finding Jesus is what we all go through. My family and friends soon got tired of hearing about Jesus from me in the first couple of years. But as time went by, I cooled down and realised that no matter how much I wanted to make others understand how I felt, they needed the time and space to find their own way in life. Even though I was never a Korn fan, these days I really appreciate your music, vlogs and channel. And I am sure that you are receiving the applause of nail-scarred hands

I can relate. I was an addict. When Jesus got ahold of me I flipped and went hard the other way. I preached open air on college campuses and became self-righteous. What was initially easy to overcome early in my walk became a challenge. I never walked away, I just cooled through massive humbling. Jesus gives us the answers and the tools , but we need to recognize that is “by grace we are saved and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, lest any man can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Most of us have no idea of the pressures and temptations Brian faces. The key is submitting and continuing, to focus on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2. Brian is an inspiration and needs our prayers to fight on, as do we all. I was saved in 1984, married in 1988 (and I still am) became a lawyer (made some poor choices still) and God still has me. He is faithful even to an f-up like me. Blessings!

oh yeah! sadly, many christians today are tricked, and have been for ages by the doctrines that teach the Good news of the FINISHED work of Christ, THE gospel + something else, and it's complete mockery, and heresy. It is NOT Biblical to say that Christ isn't enough... we are the Righteousness of God by the Cross (2 cor 5:21) it is a One time act of saving Faith, and trust in His blood, His sacrifice for us. Grace alone is how we recieve the Gift of Salvation (Eph 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 11:6) 2 Tim 2:13 He does not ''deny'' us, even if we were to "leave" by not having faith, because your life IS Christ IN YOU (Galatians 2:20)
I recommend Mattmcmillen ministries to unlearn "religious" lies, he's a good, humble person, who is an ambassador for Christ, who talks clearly about the New Covenant, and teaches Biblically Sound, Contextually correct doctrine of God's Love, Power and Grace! you can read hus free articles from his books on his website: mattmcmillenministries.com/topics/ God Bless!

When we stand eye to eye with anyone, we should all be hoping for each and everyone of those people, that NONE SHOULD PERISH! Love them the way God does! I remember being as crabby as Jonah was over the idea that Ninevites would be redeemed, especially when it seemed the people I witnessed to seemed unaffected by anything I told them about God. I just hope that I didn't turn them away from Jesus. His light is what has to shine and reflect off of me towards others; without His light, I'm just a pile of fragmented mirror pieces and cold dead glass which would never have had the privilege of reflecting the warmth and love of God upon others! When others see what God can do with a wretch like me, I hope they can fix their eyes solidly on Jesus, where they've always belonged in the first place-- NEVER on me, I'm just the scrappy dust on and coming off of his sandals, like John, unworthy of even removing them to wash His feet. I need to learn to be a better servant each and every day of my life, without complaint! God help me-- I really suck at it!

Overzealousness can often lead one into overstated foolishness. I remember being so overjoyed, but headfull with knowledge that I would often speak over (correct) other more mature Christians who were attempting to "counsel" or witness themselves to others. I ended up coming across as a snob to those dear brothers and sisters just because I thought I had to correct them to make sure they were telling the Scriptures accurately and not in some way which didn't literally represent Scriptures. I had to repent from such and be cautious about not causing others to stumble in their frustrations with me for being such a loud mouth interruption! Man, oh, man, the things we all would change if God gave us the chance at a do-over in many situations. Thank God, that He has even given us a chance at repentance and redemption. I'd be an even worse wretch than I already am without that privileged gift God has bestowed upon us through His Son's sacrifice-- so much of my foolish sin my Savior had to bear on my behalf! Jesus, please, don't let my love grow cold for you; lead me as I learn to be a better fisher of men, starting with my own family and loved ones who will listen to Your Word and follow it! Refine me and don't stop!!!! Amen

Thank you for posting this video! I want to THANK YOU. Today, I am 5 years, 1 month and 4 days sober by the grace of God. In 2017 the Army sent me to a Behavioral Health Treatment Center for my combat related PTSD. I was allowed to take two books with me. I took "Dark Days" by D. Randal Blythe and "Save me from Myself." They had such an impact on my life and your personal story of salvation and sobriety helped me realize that I had more to deal with than anger and nightmares in my life. I wound up staying an extra 28 days for rehab. I love your songs "Flush" and "Adonai" because they hit very close to home for me. I understand completely about having to learn to "dial-back" the Recovery Speak and "God talk." I had friends tell me I was coming off as "preachy" and "elitist." I had to learn there is a time and place to share my personal beliefs in relation to my recovery and sobriety. I don't want to be responsible for driving people away from either. I hope everything is going good for you and I Thank God for all he has delivered you from. Be Blessed!

Being a Christian is a narrow path that doesnt have room for many things, and that includes more than just vices, but people, situations, specific social interactions and more. When you feel isolated, it is time for you to fall even deeper into your spiritual growth in Christ, for it is a reminder that He is all you need. Keep walking with Him brother, for even through the hardest times and they wont stop coming until the time anointed.
And the time is now, for it is here and you see it too, for you have been behind the veil and have seen their plans against him. It is just about time for our harpazo. Be afraid not to warn, for we are his lights in the darkness for those asleep for he will be like a theif in the night to them, but for us we will see the signs of his coming and alarm his people to prepare and his lost children to rejoin the flock, for the theif is the Shepard come to reclaim his stolen cattle.

I just started to like metal recently. There's a great Christian metal band called Living Sacrifice. Really hard sounds but the songs reflect a love for Christ and his (the singer) spiritual struggles. Many people don't seem to understand or have empathy for the fact that most folks don't just find God, change for the better and live happily ever after. Existence itself becomes a crucible, a never-ending battle with oneself and their demons.

@Harmony I have received the Lord in my heart since I was 6 years old so for 40 years, I have known God enough to always worship him first and know my limits in relation to the mentality of the world, our vocation as a child of God is to bear witness to our life as Christians to the world, to flee from it and to scorn it is to scorn souls who need to know Jesus. I'm not the type to lock myself in a church or some kind of unbiblical religiosity after everyone believes what they want, When a person has a real communion, relationship with God, the conscience serves as a lamp like the Bible so as not to hurt God, the Holy Spirit guides and takes again if necessary on condition of living God and not religious precepts which are afraid as much as 'they are brittle and full of judgment!

Being a Christian means that we believe that Jesus died on the Cross for our Sins. We believe what the bible says about how Jesus is the the way, the truth and the life, HE is the only way to GOD. No one comes to the Father but through me(Jesus). The beliefs you share in the bible come from GOD. The bible isn't filled with nuggets of truth here and there. It's the official word of GOD. Good, Bad and Ugly as it may be. Life is all those things and more. Bible prophecy is evident throughout our history.

Brian, I have been a fan of yours for such a long time. I was once an atheist and found Christ shortly before you announced your faith, so I was so thrilled to hear that you found Christ as well! I'm just curious though, in what way did you feel zealous? I feel that people are confusing the word zealous with extreme, and they are not the same thing. If by being zealous you mean making Christian based music and doing works for Christ, that is what we are called to do. Those are signs of the Holy Spirit working in your life and is nothing to be ashamed of. God called those who were "zealous," in the Bible to speak his word to the people, and I feel that is exactly what he did with you too. Brian, you coming to know Jesus has saved literally THOUSANDS of people, and that is nothing you should be ashamed of or feel the need to apologize for. Never apologize for Christ. Again, I say this as a person who loves Christ and has been a huge fan of yours for a VERY long time. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be upon you!
