I am a Metalhead, I follow Christ and I am second!!!! My story is so similar to Brian's story and yet different. Metal is a genre that can be used for so much good. Metal isn't wrong, it isn't from Satan. It can be used for evil and it can be used for good. I love this brothers testimony and to see what Jesus is doing through Him. midnight fair whoa what an insight. Yes, so true in what you said. My spirit is jumping ;) It is so important that we are grounded in who we are in Christ being guided in HIS SPIRIT, by HIS truth. We need to spend time soaking in HIS presence, seeking HIS face, HIS Kingdom and HIS righteousness. Being and letting JESUS show us how and where to step so HE can use out testimony to draw others to HIMself. That takes living out faith, the fruit of the SPIRIT and reflecting the FATHER. We are to be the light upon the hill no matter where the LORD calls us to serve. GOD actually took me away from punk music and from metal for two and a half years be cause of the attachment to music as an idol, a lifestyle and an escape from the reality of things I couldn't cope with, music as also at that time my connection to emotion. I will admit that being the very up-beat and highly motivated person the pace of the music itself lyrics aside is appealing because it's very get up and go. but not something I listen to all or most of the time.

They are just people who try to be good on the outside, but are not good on the inside. God is a being. He created us and provided a way for us to have the power to break the evil the overpowers us. I saw it back in 2016 a couple of days before Halloween, and that's when I surrendered and I entered a faith based rehab on November 1, 2016 and I had an ex-girlfriend/fiance, a couple close friends and my family all trying to get me to go get help, but no one or nothing was enough to get me to go until this video popped up on the bottom of the website of the place I was looking at going to and I watched it one time, picked up the phone and made the call then, and this if it hadnt been for this I wouldn't be here today telling you this story. This video saved my life after 22 years addiction, trauma, and so much more I could talk all day but I'm currently writing my story into a book, so hopefully you'll get the rest of the story once it's completed! But I was hopeless and had tried everything and every way possible to change my life and turn things around except faith based rehab and the video gave me hope and got me to the right place, then God did the rest once I got there the Holy Spirit and Christ along with God worked in me and it was truly a miracle what took place and I'm forever grateful and blessed that I was washed clean, and restored. I experienced true salvation and a spiritual awakening and I enjoyed seeing your comment as it's so good to know others come back and watch it again like I do ! ❤✌

I am so thankful for Jesus. Beautiful testimony! I was a neglectful parent, my daughter was in foster care for 6 months. I gave my heart to Jesus and I have been clean from drugs and alcohol for a year on July 25th this year. My daughter is home and He has made me the best mother I could be. Love you brother!

You know, it's fucking possible to not be a drug addict and not believe in God. God did nothing for this man and that is the saddest part about this story. He doesn't realize that he deserves credit for this victory and not that false, ignorant fairy tale that is called God.
+Lord ofsolitude ~ Most addicts find they come to a point where they can't stop using without outside help. If we could stop on our own, why do so many addicts die rather than quit. This is what it’s really all about. Big Korn fan growing up, awesome band. But Korn aside, this guys strength, honesty and determination are what really makes him a superstar to me. He made some tough choices and fought some hard battles, did right by his daughter and won. I am so happy for him. This story could’ve had a very different ending, and it happens often especially when caught up in the crazy entertainment industry. I am an addict and was a drunken drug addict for most my life. I was convinced I could never be sober. I came to the fact that I was always going to be dependent on something and then one day Jesus came into my life. I can not explain how it happens but God takes the addiction away. Its a battle everyday but now that I know Jesus is real I find comfort in His Word knowing he is True and faithful. He will take it away from you so have comfort in that. You just have to trust him.

I never heard of your music until a friend shared it with me many years ago. At that time I was so into Flyleaf and loved how she sang about God!!!!! I couldn't listen to one whole song of yours. I got sick to my stomach. I thought to myself. "Who would listen to this awful music." It felt like something died inside of me. I was alone when I tried to listen to your music. Same story here Brother Welch, I was lost for a long time, found Jesus, and my life changed forever! I spend my time trying to spread his word now and give back to those who need him! Life is tough, even now soetimes depression will creep in, then I feel Jesus love in my heart, and I feel renewed all over again! Glory be to Jesus!

For many who visit here in part this is our testimony, we were runners, prodigals, but thank you Jesus for pursuing us, I went back and forth with my addiction after salvation and in a depressed state of mind God spoke to my spirit and said "I still love you"...I will never forget that moment

I don't know if you will ever see this, but I will write it for all else who will. I have always told those who will listen my "kids", (all grown uo now) saved me. That's only part of it, it was truly Jesus Christ, and the kids were the gift given to light the way. So glad it all turned out as it was meant to...it is exactly as it is supposed to be. I've never seen this video before even though I do like this man. It made me teary because when he spoke about the scripture. Come to me all those who are...... Its weird right. Because I opened my bible today randomly at this scripture and read it asif I was meant to open it on that page. I thought little of it, except I am feeling weary and burdened so when I opened it I was like..... Wow. Then tonight I sit flicking through and click on this. And what does he say. The exact same scripture. I know this is a msg for me. Even if through his works now he helps just one or two people change their ways for the better, he's done good. I remember my pastor showed this to our youth group many years ago. I'm no longer a Christian but this still sticks with me for some reason. I'm glad to see that he got clean and that his faith is helping his life. Even though faith isn't for me it can still do good for others so I encourage people who are struggling to give Christ a chance if you think it'll be a positive change

when i was 12 years old i prayed to god and told him that if this man (Brian Welch) becomes a christian then me 2 and god said deal! at age 18 Head from the band korn became a christian. god told me 3x this would happen but i did not belive him i was 15 years old when god told me 3x he would one day become a christian!

It can be difficult to wade through all the different denominations of Christian churches. May I offer my humble suggestion of visiting an Orthodox church, preferably one that does services in the language you feel most comfortable in. You know, it's fucking possible to not be a drug addict and not believe in God. God did nothing for this man and that is the saddest part about this story. He doesn't realize that he deserves credit for this victory and not that false, ignorant fairy tale that is called God.
+Lord ofsolitude ~ Most addicts find they come to a point where they can't stop using without outside help. If we could stop on our own, why do so many addicts die rather than quit. When you seek God earnestly, He will be found by you. He won't play games to satisfy your curiosity. He stands at the door of our hearts knocking. It is our choice whether we open the door or leave it closed. He doesn't force anyone to believe that He is.

This is what it’s really all about. Big Korn fan growing up, awesome band. But Korn aside, this guys strength, honesty and determination are what really makes him a superstar to me. He made some tough choices and fought some hard battles, did right by his daughter and won. I am so happy for him. I am an addict and was a drunken drug addict for most my life. I was convinced I could never be sober. I came to the fact that I was always going to be dependent on something and then one day Jesus came into my life. I can not explain how it happens but God takes the addiction away. Its a battle everyday but now that I know Jesus is real I find comfort in His Word knowing he is True and faithful. He will take it away from you so have comfort in that. You just have to trust him.

Same story here Brother Welch, I was lost for a long time, found Jesus, and my life changed forever! I spend my time trying to spread his word now and give back to those who need him! Life is tough, even now soetimes depression will creep in, then I feel Jesus love in my heart, and I feel renewed all over again! Glory be to Jesus!

For many who visit here in part this is our testimony, we were runners, prodigals, but thank you Jesus for pursuing us, I went back and forth with my addiction after salvation and in a depressed state of mind God spoke to my spirit and said "I still love you"...I will never forget that moment

That's only part of it, it was truly Jesus Christ, and the kids were the gift given to light the way. So glad it all turned out as it was meant to...it is exactly as it is supposed to be. I've never seen this video before even though I do like this man. It made me teary because when he spoke about the scripture. Come to me all those who are...... Its weird right. Because I opened my bible today randomly at this scripture and read it asif I was meant to open it on that page. I thought little of it, except I am feeling weary and burdened so when I opened it I was like..... Wow.

I know this is a msg for me. Even if through his works now he helps just one or two people change their ways for the better, he's done good. If you had a platform like he does, why wouldn't you wana save others. The fact he loves his daughter so much to fight his demons, it's a blessing. I remember my pastor showed this to our youth group many years ago. I'm no longer a Christian but this still sticks with me for some reason. I'm glad to see that he got clean and that his faith is helping his life. Even though faith isn't for me it can still do good for others so I encourage people who are struggling to give Christ a chance if you think it'll be a positive change

when i was 12 years old i prayed to god and told him that if this man (Brian Welch) becomes a christian then me 2 and god said deal! at age 18 Head from the band korn became a christian. god told me 3x this would happen but i did not belive him i was 15 years old when god told me 3x he would one day become a christian!

I have also felt this Love and I thank God for his mercy. It is beautiful to know that you have been healed of your addiction and have found your true home. It can be difficult to wade through all the different denominations of Christian churches. May I offer my humble suggestion of visiting an Orthodox church, preferably one that does services in the language you feel most comfortable in. It is the original Christian church and preserves the fullness of the church. God bless you.
