I was so sorry to hear the sad news that Yvonne sustained a horrible injury while working with her beloved horses... her best friends. I am a retired ICU nurse and I know the grief and panic that you are feeling. But I want you to know that the ICU is not only a place of profound sadness, but also of profound joy. Miracles happen every day in ICUs... it is the reason ICU nurses return to work every day. Sometimes the miracles happen suddenly... other times they trickle in so slowly that at first you don't even know they are happening. Wow! That lovely new rug from Maria is going to keep Waloubet warm - and a bit cleaner - in the winter. The colour really suits her too, but her pink rug will be OKay again once it's been sent to the rug cleaners! I love the two dapple greys on the card that came with it. Fab pink "Don't worry!" headcollar too! Lovely fingerless gloves from Mary Ann - perfect for tacking-up in the winter! My first pony - Tommy - came straight from the moors of Dartmoor - we bought him as a 4 year old from a riding school near us. He was 12.2hh and dark bay - just like Jonnie and was the best beginners pony ever! His coat used to go really curly in the winter when it was damp - and muddy! So, I loved seeing the photos from Dartmoor. Lovely knee warmers from Helene too - very cosey & snuggly. Awesome hoof pick there ladies - made by a great brand. Mathilda and Lianne's sheepskin head-collars look nice and, comfy but will take Lianne a little while to get used to wearing it. Lindt chocolates are the best - pesky mice! Senna loves her treats but there's a mixed reaction from the horses for their treats which Senna took full advantage of. Lol! You've all been very spoiled by a few of your International followers.

My heart broke when I heard about Yvonne's fall. I can't imagine what happened, she's always so careful. If prayers cross the ocean, she has all of mine. To think that someone with her talent, energy, love and devotion could be erased from this world is too painful to imagine. She's a fighter. Someone in Florida started two go fund me using Yvonne's name but it's not anyone linked to her so please be careful guys. One already has over $3k donations but it's not one of her family or friends or even living in her country. Hope her family sees it and either stops it or can claim the money.

Today as i watched the video where risong Star had been “sold” and that Uniek and he had to say goodbye, i was so relieved to find out the buyer was Yvonne…I began to cry and cried and cried..I felt so sad and yet it was happy news. Then i saw the announcement about her accident. No wonder, I could feel it across the oceans. i am a Nurse and have worked with head injury patients and I just feel intuitively that Yvonne will recover completely, it may take some time, but , really, so little is known about exactly how we heal, especially the brain and nervous system. It happens a lot, a full recovery from even the most severe injuries. The fact that she can ride horses at the Rehabilitation center, is wonderful because the very act of riding, something her body, mind and spirit know so well, will help build new circuits ie open “new trails” in her brain and nervous system. 🙏🙏🙏💕🌹 from 🇺🇸
@@prarieborn6458 the beloved Rising Star came as a foster foal from another Stable because his own Mamma had died.. What usually happens is a foster foal might go back to where it was born. But more often because there is a deep friendship, the foal stays at the Stables where he got raised. An arrangement happens for title of the colt or filly to be purchased. 🦄🦄🦄
I am so shocked and heartsick about Yvonne. I pray and hope she recovers soon and retains all her faculties and abilities. Prayers for her family and everyone at the stable as well.
I just read on Facebook that Yvonne has had a terrible accident leaving her in critical condition in the hospital. My healing prayers and love to all of you, and I am praying for her full recovery.

Is there any way to send an update on Yvonne’s condition? I had been waiting for a new installment on this channel and it became clear there there was something wrong. I was so heart broken as I reviewed the comments since her last post. Words can’t express my sadness. Yvonne, the horses, foals, her children, and all the events related to this channel had been a source of support and comfort as I moved through my own life struggles. I was suprised at my tears and recognizing the incredible comfort Yvonne had been able to provide. I don’t think she fully understands how she positively impacted not only me but many as they looked for support and comfort. Yvonne, the Friesian horses, the precious foals, the kitties, the children, ponies, all of the staff and the peaceful environment have encouraged my own healing. Now, my thoughts, and most earnest prayers are offered as Yvonne and her sweet family work toward healing.
I have enjoyed the videos and was also concerned. I do not mean to sound nosey but would like to know what is going on and will consider a gofundme to support her for all the joy she has brought to us. This was so nice. We got to see "everybody"! My favorite part was when Yvonne was giving Rising Star a treat. He didn't seem to want it, so Yvonne gave it to Pieter. All of the sudden, Rising Star was interested. This behavior was so much like children who are siblings! I did the same, dear Margaret, and watched a lot of the older videos because someone said that this is a good way to support Yvonne and her family. But I could not stop crying and crying: Yvonne to me is the epitome of empathy who brought so much love and peace and light these terrible last years. And that something terrible happened to her makes me equally sad and angry. Where were the guardian angels?

Wow! That lovely new rug from Maria is going to keep Waloubet warm - and a bit cleaner - in the winter. The colour really suits her too, but her pink rug will be OKay again once it's been sent to the rug cleaners! I love the two dapple greys on the card that came with it. My first pony - Tommy - came straight from the moors of Dartmoor - we bought him as a 4 year old from a riding school near us. He was 12.2hh and dark bay - just like Jonnie and was the best beginners pony ever! His coat used to go really curly in the winter when it was damp - and muddy! So, I loved seeing the photos from Dartmoor. Lovely knee warmers from Helene too - very cosey & snuggly.

Mathilda and Lianne's sheepskin head-collars look nice and, comfy but will take Lianne a little while to get used to wearing it.

My heart broke when I heard about Yvonne's fall. I can't imagine what happened, she's always so careful. If prayers cross the ocean, she has all of mine. To think that someone with her talent, energy, love and devotion could be erased from this world is too painful to imagine. She's a fighter. Today as i watched the video where risong Star had been “sold” and that Uniek and he had to say goodbye, i was so relieved to find out the buyer was Yvonne…I began to cry and cried and cried..I felt so sad and yet it was happy news. Then i saw the announcement about her accident. No wonder, I could feel it across the oceans. i am a Nurse and have worked with head injury patients and I just feel intuitively that Yvonne will recover completely, it may take some time, but , really, so little is known about exactly how we heal, especially the brain and nervous system. It happens a lot, a full recovery from even the most severe injuries. The fact that she can ride horses at the Rehabilitation center, is wonderful because the very act of riding, something her body, mind and spirit know so well, will help build new circuits ie open “new trails” in her brain and nervous system. 🙏🙏🙏💕🌹 from 🇺🇸
@@prarieborn6458 the beloved Rising Star came as a foster foal from another Stable because his own Mamma had died.. What usually happens is a foster foal might go back to where it was born. But more often because there is a deep friendship, the foal stays at the Stables where he got raised. An arrangement happens for title of the colt or filly to be purchased. 🦄🦄🦄

Is there any way to send an update on Yvonne’s condition? I had been waiting for a new installment on this channel and it became clear there there was something wrong. I was so heart broken as I reviewed the comments since her last post. Words can’t express my sadness. Yvonne, the horses, foals, her children, and all the events related to this channel had been a source of support and comfort as I moved through my own life struggles. I was suprised at my tears and recognizing the incredible comfort Yvonne had been able to provide. I don’t think she fully understands how she positively impacted not only me but many as they looked for support and comfort. Yvonne, the Friesian horses, the precious foals, the kitties, the children, ponies, all of the staff and the peaceful environment have encouraged my own healing. Now, my thoughts, and most earnest prayers are offered as Yvonne and her sweet family work toward healing.
I have enjoyed the videos and was also concerned. I do not mean to sound nosey but would like to know what is going on and will consider a gofundme to support her for all the joy she has brought to us. I am an old, retired person who used to ride and love seeing the beautiful horses. Please let us know what happened

This was so nice. We got to see "everybody"! My favorite part was when Yvonne was giving Rising Star a treat. He didn't seem to want it, so Yvonne gave it to Pieter. All of the sudden, Rising Star was interested. This behavior was so much like children who are siblings!
I love it when the foals are old enough for us to start to see a little bit of their individual personalities. Great video!

She is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Her condition is worrisome, we do not know how she will emerge from this battle. We try to keep courage and stay positive.

I did the same, dear Margaret, and watched a lot of the older videos because someone said that this is a good way to support Yvonne and her family. But I could not stop crying and crying: Yvonne to me is the epitome of empathy who brought so much love and peace and light these terrible last years. And that something terrible happened to her makes me equally sad and angry. Where were the guardian angels?
