Btw that temp gauge is your oil temp, intercooler has nothing to do with that temp your coolant temp is what goes down from intercooler but most bmw dont have a coolant temp gauge only oil temp gauge
Coolant temp won't go down with an intercooler either. You buy an intercooler to lower the Intake Air Temp.

@@ruben9388the intake temperatures. It’s cooling the air because cold air is better for performance, which means bigger explosions with denser air, meaning your engine might even run hotter than it did before the intercooler.

Do you have to be catless and run a tune if you are upgrading your intercooler? Or does it just allow you to add more power safely?

You really had to take the bumper on to get the intercooler on?
For that one yeah, because it gave access to wiggle the intercooler from a better angle, but you can just install it with the bumper on, but you’ll have a harder time putting it in

No it sounds the same, the only difference is when its super hot outside 95F, you can hear it working super loud.

Sick setup bro i just got my 335i in june it came with a injen intake so that’s all i can tell was done i’m planning on upgrading intercooler and charge pipe and going catless DP and debating muffler delete but first 3 for sure you think i’d be able to run MHD stage 2?? also someone recommended a transmission tune if i were to do all this but not familiar with it what you think tho? i’m in so cal too so this heat don’t help appreciate it bro keep going you earned a sub!
Thanks man! Nice nice yeah with those mods you can run it fine, yeah I did a transmission tune, I think I even did a video about it, it makes your shifts more precise and a bit faster, It’s not that much of a difference but sometimes the milliseconds count
I have a question does your intake heats up a lot. Cus mines does it gets really hot and not sure what to do 🤦🏽♂️
