    Going to come back to this one again and again. It's so tempting to overcomplicate recovery. Thankyou for all you give to this community Miguel.

    Two weeks ago I decided I didnt need to research anymore as your principles were enough and working and knowing more wasn’t going to get me any further down the path to recovery and since then i have massively improved and that is not a coincidence..if you spend every waking minute trying to fix yourself your brain will think it is broken..it is counter intuitive and it has taken me nearly 4years to work this out but too much knowledge can be a hinderance..keep it simple, reap the rewards..

    Yes! Thank you so much for this. I had someone yesterday tell me I was doing my body damage because I had symptoms after expanding my baseline. Thankfully I had the confidence to say I wasn't worried because I can calm the symptoms. But reassurance is so helpful. On the right track, won't be long :)

    I was first diagnosed with CFS about 15 years ago, there were many ups and downs, luckily for me it didn't mean that I was unable to do anything for 15 years, but I had several periods of 1-2 months were I was bedridden.
    All my blood values etc. were good for a long time, just like is usually the case with CFS but the illness did result in periods of an unhealthy lifestyle. I often wasn't able to work out or have a great diet and even though I was never seriously overweight, about 2 months ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, which was a major additional stress.
    I also measured my cortisol levels for the first time, they aren't part of a standard blood test and they were elevated. Chronically elevated cortisol is also a contributing factor for high blood sugar.
    The major over-analysing started once again. On the first day after my diagnosis I pretty much knew that the best course of action would be to go on a very low carb diet but I still questioned that decision every day. I watched countless videos on blood sugar and and cholesterol, read papers, had consultations. In terms of my actual diet I'm at exactly the same point as I was 2 months ago, I still do low carb, vegetables, meat, eggs and lots of olive oil, so I wonder if those 2 months of research really did me any good. They probably just caused unnecessary stress.
    I really tend to overthink a lot, I constantly read books about psychology and even when I read for pleasure it's often philosophy. Heck, even when I read simpler novels like The Song of Ice and Fire, I spend hours analysing it and trying to figure out all the schemes and lineages.
    Really, keeping it simple is probably the one thing left that I never tried, I will try it now.

    It's called FOMO. A fear of missing something about your diagnosis and recovery.
    But thanks to all of the research you developed a program. Also by leaving some things you learned out. You learned what worked for you by finding out what didn't work for you.

    I'm a health coach and can't tell if I have CFS or Adrenal Fatigue syndrome or a combination of both. I am 90 % recovered after being couch bound for the last 14 months. Would it be possible to book an hour consultation with one of your experts to maybe just get a proper diagnosis? I had severe reactive hypoglycemia even though my blood sugar was normal, severe heart racing, severe intolerance to stress, or exertion, not really tiredness and I didn't have brain fog or pain. A lot of conflicting symptoms.

      I always recommend going through the questionnaire and if you qualify, booking a strategy call to see if you're a good fit for the program! www.cfsrecovery.co/apply.
      Looking forward to connecting with you!

      Hey. Went though years of the Adrenal fatigue thing. Paid 1000s to Dr Lam the number 1 specialist in AF. Nothing has helped me more than this channel. Let go of the label and instead do what feels better. I’m too sensitive to supplements I was told to take. Not bad mouthing other drs and their work. Just wasn’t for me. Hope you heal

      @nellwellhealth1800 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@BubblesandcandyflossI too consulted with Dr. Lam. I think he is very knowledgeable but I was disappointed in the way I was directed. I also have a theory that CFS is partly related to ongoing post concussive syndrome? I think it lowered my nervous system and brain's threshold for stress of any kind. I had a concussion 12 years ago and that was the first "crash" with all these symptoms.

    • @Bubblesandcandyfloss
      @Bubblesandcandyfloss 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nellwellhealth1800 that’s so interesting. I’ve never had a concussion. Well that I know of unless it happened in childhood and I don’t recall. I’ll have a think about that thank you . I found Dr Lam knowledgeable too but that glutathione he offers made me absolutely manic. I’m glad you’re 90% recovered. Love to hear it.

    Can you make a video on the difference between CFS and Anxiety? Because it seems like they are the same thing. When I began treating CFS recovery like an anxiety disorder recovery, I began making progress in my recovery journey

    • @muhyadindahir3188
      @muhyadindahir3188 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Anxiety is one of the symptoms of CFS, it is the feeling we feel when we are scared or fearing something may happen to us for the example if you encounter a lion suddenly you will get anxious and scared and CFS is a fatigue syndrome as you can see in its name and it is complex illness
      Hope that is answer of your question
      Sorry my low level of English, i am still learning 😂

    I definitely am analytical. My job was a wholesale banking analyst so yeah, I would say I’m analytical lol. Have you seen people have hormones regulate including testosterone, progesterone, blood cortisol, etc? I see these things on paper not showing in range or at the very bottom or top, so it’s hard for me to not analyze. My doctors want me on hormone therapy. Have you seen these things resolve with brain retraining?
    I analyze if magnesium will help low testosterone or if other foods will help it. It’s so frustrating. I will feel great one day and the next I would feel like I am in another world and not like myself at all.

    • @calista1280
      @calista1280 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would focus on your diet first. Although you can do Brain Retraining at the same time. Meditation & walking in nature will help calm down cortisol. Do some gentle Tai Chi or yoga exercises. If you're feeling stressed, take a moment to breathe in deeply so your belly expands. Hold it for a count of 8 and slowly blow it out thru your mouth. That outward breath releases cortisol too. Repeat 3 times... 😊
      Watch videos on YT by Dr. Mindy Pelz. She works with women's cycles and diet, including fasting, which clears up a lot of things in our bodies! I went Keto leaning towards Carnivore & my energy soared & brain fog cleared up! Eliminate processed foods and as many carbs as possible. You'll be amazed!
      Best of Life to You!
      Namaste 🙏🏻 🤲🏻 🕊
