Im going to get the same tank for my '63. Everybody raves about the boyds tank, but the fuel pump they use is overkill for a stock engine

Great idea mounting the tank to the bottom of the frame. On my truck however I’m doing big notches and bags so I worry about tank clearance to the ground when I air out. Looks like even if you bag it and just keep the mini notch it won’t be an issue for you. Great video. I may go with this tank as well.

Thanks. And if i were you, since you are bagging and doing a big notch to lay it out, you might look at making the raised bed portion so that you can still access the top of the tank if you need to after mounting it on top of the frame. I still have your number, i'll send you a video of mine driving so you can see how low of clearance there is right now

Put an inline connector on your tank circuits so you can easiliy disconnect the wiring if you have to drop the tank.

I have a bulk pack of connectors and did this on all my plugs on the blue truck. Only takes one time making that mistake of having to reconnect wires after you think you are done!

Does the tank come with a fuel cap?

Yes, it did come with the fuel cap. Its a pretty nice and hefty cap as well.
