@@eriktorres2410 shot at a club near darlington a few years back that had a few and seen some near Beaufort on a field. They seem to hang around big pigeon spots
Only use low brass for small birds like dove my brother and I went hunting and he was a idiot and put high brass in his 12 gauge and blew the bird apart 😂😂
You actually didn’t kill your limit, the limit is 15 MOURNING dove. Collared Dove are invasive, compete with native birds, and there is no season plus they don’t count towards your limit. Pretty much like a pigeon.
Yea same way in Louisiana too. I lucked up many years ago on a youth hunt when I was 14 and the field was full of collard doves. I never seen or heard of one and when I picked it up I was so excited I thought I had really did something special and killed some once in a lifetime type bird lmao. Well since it was a Louisiana wildlife and fisheries hunt on a wma there were game wardens everywhere chatting with parents and what not since no adults could hunt, so I ran over to my dad screaming "look daddy look what I shot what kind of dove is it? But he didn't know either because back then they were pretty rare and very few people knew about them and there was no cell phones to Google them so within 45 mins from the time we got there I had my limit. I think 12 back then. Well when one of the wardens was like "dang son y'all weren't out there long was it fun and how many u got?" So when he checked them I had killed 5 collard doves, he was like he chuckled a bit and said "just as I was suspecting," and paused for suspense and said "u ain't even done yet! those five don't even count toward your bag limit. There in no limit for the amount of Eurasian doves u can kill. The only limiting factor for them is how many u can shoot before u get your 12 morning doves! So maybe we can get lucky and u get another 100 before your limit out. The more the better!" That was probably the best dove hunts I ever been on in my life. I hunted it 2 years in a row and was too old after that but killed a bunch of collard doves both years.
You definitely have one of the best shots for doves that I have seen in a long time. Great shooting

SC only counts morning and white wings, but we also don’t get a ton of collareds unless you’re in the right spot
What part of sc have u seen them in? I’ve never seen one in sc

Lol have fun walking to get that one😂😂 the amount of times I've heard that 😂😂
What choke are you using?
Collard dove do not go toward the limit here in Oklahoma.
Are you planning on hunting Cora this season?
Hello Josh, I did not think that coloured doves counted within your limit of birds, I thought they were bonus birds on top of your limit.
The go pro on your head is set to what? Wide angle?
Your shooting is on point man
what camera is on your shotgun?
Y’all lucky you can use lead us in Cali have to use steel and the velocity sucks 😂
Nice great wonderfully amazing bro enjoy the hunting season❤❤❤
How are you hunting if opening day is September 1st?
obviously this was NOT from 2023,
2022
Collarded doves count toward your limit there?
Really straight shot
What electronic earplugs do you Recommend. I’ve looked at some and I’m not looking to spend 150$+ on a pair so what would you recommend?
Tetra
What choke.?

Is that pretty much an IC?
Why no M2 anymore?
I still have it
You shot doves yesterday? Its not even season yet
What r they eating
What state are you in or hunting in?

I know you like mountain ops, but what is your favorite flavor? Mine is pineapple😊
I rotate between peach, blue lemonade, and strawberry kiwi
@@OutdoorLimits blue lemonade is one other of my favorites

damnn you a sharp shooter pretty impressive of shooting nice job
Top hunting 🤔🤔
Are you shooting low brass like 3 1/4 dram? I have the same gun btw.

@@brandonmolinaro2705 well sometimes it’s better especially on windy days
Winchester makes a “fast dove” shell that’s high brass. I think other factors come into play other than the size of the brass
Fastest limit
wheres Kora?
She wasn’t ready when I did this hunt
@@OutdoorLimits hope to see her on some future dove hunts!
Them ring neck dove shouldn’t count towards your limit
They do in Nebraska
You didn’t limit out. Collared dove do not count towards you limit. You should know this.
Nebraska counts all 3 species as your 15 bird limit. Pigeons don’t count
You actually didn’t kill your limit, the limit is 15 MOURNING dove. Collared Dove are invasive, compete with native birds, and there is no season plus they don’t count towards your limit. Pretty much like a pigeon.
During dove season in Nebraska they count to a limit
Oklahoma as well
Same with missouri
I stand corrected then. That’s no good. In GA collared dove and pigeon don’t count, just mourning dove.
