The song is about changing one's self for another person, i.e. 'killing' their heart in exchange for someone to like them. However, it seems like the girl (the one in the song) may not have wanted that...but the singer is too far gone by this point, he feels like he genuinely murdered someone for her to create a new version of himself that he believes she may like much better. In this context, it feels like Bakugo is saying he's 'killed' his past self. The parts of him that made him angry and spiteful, but in exchange now he's severely depressed and hates himself so much for what he was like. He hopes people still like him despite that, but he doesn't want anyone to know what he's done to himself to get to this point...but he does want *someone* to know, at least in some way.
