That's debatable-
It's been about 3 days since my birthday, I realized that he's right. As you get older it never does feel different, I woke up and nothing really changed. I remember that when I was young I used to feel excited, I felt like I was so grown or I felt as though I was on top. Now, it just feels like it's just another day. I'm not that old though, I'm still young, but I guess I started feeling this way since I was about 9-10 years old but I just now realized that nothing feels different. People make a big deal of my birthday at times, a little more this year. I didn't really understand why they make a fuss about living another year. It's just another day, nothing's different.

Same whenever it’s my birthday I get anxious because my family (on my dad’s side) get all over when it comes to birthdays. When I turned 15 I gave up on having a birthday party because it always made me anxious whenever there was a party and having to socialize and I was always the black sheep on my dad’s side of the family. I don’t find birthday parties to be exciting for me it makes me anxious and again I’m those people who you don’t really care about or pay attention to because they don’t match with their standards. But I miss that nostalgia feeling I don’t know why but I do maybe it’s because I didn’t have to worry about being anxious or being the black sheep I honestly don’t know. My birthday is coming up and I feel anxious but also feel relief that I won’t have a birthday party parties aren’t really my thing it only comes out as having that sad and empty feeling whenever I leave. At the age of 10 I realize that parties were never meant for me since I always got bombarded with stupid questions and harsh judgement from my aunts and uncles and yet it still happens to me which frustrates me. If only I can go back and tell my 14 year old self whenever I got excited for my 15th birthday and say this “Don’t get excited when it’s your birthday because at the end of the day it’ll just be the same thing. They’ll judge you, ask stupid questions, and won’t pay attention to you nor care because they don’t meet their standards because you’re different.”. And I know it sounds messed up but it’s true but I’m fine with it. Something that I do-well try to do more often on my birthday is going outside and appreciating everything and being grateful that I’m still here that I didn’t take my own life away at 13. I try my best to do that more often but you’re right it’s just another day like any other day.
SORRY FOR MY HUGE ASS RAMBLE but I really wanted to say this because I feel the exact same way. Again sorry for my huge ramble.
