To clarify, the "Seattle City tax" I'm referring to in this video is the sales tax rate you pay when buying goods in the city of Seattle, which breaks down into the WA State sales tax of 6.5% + Seattle's sales tax rate of 3.75%, for a total Seattle Sales tax rate of 10.25%.
Me and my wife live in Lincoln park, Chicago. Which is the safest area in Chicago but still have a mass shooting last month. Chicago has too much crazy guys while ride the bus and the tube is so danger which I've never got. So, we don't feel Lincoln park is the safest area like that mentioned(might be cause of Chicago thing) and we always got a bad experience from the black guys. Now we thinking about moving to Seattle. Cause I think less crime, more Asian(cause we are). I agree with you about high cost of living but high quality in Seattle. No income tax is better, same sales tax as Chicago.
Been researching a lot about a (potential and hopeful) move to the area. I am glad I came across this video.
I’m glad you found it helpful.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions you have especially if you end up making the move to Seattle.

32 is not half of 49. That’s like 2/3rds of 49.
