@@LoBucketz For all intents and purposes, I think I’ve got tremendously better. I’m still smoothing out my moves, but I know and can do most if not all jb moves. I’m not super advance and because I tend to stay to myself in skating rinks I don’t have anyone to work on routines with so I mostly freestyle JB. I haven’t made it out to Chicago yet.

I was motivated by OG's on the floor. Now I'm proud to be an OG on the floor. Being motivated by the people of our next generation carrying on the torch in the legacy of JB'rs .
I grew up skating but stopped.. What kind of skates should I buy?
They could be on the streets hustling, slanging, doing thug shit, like we've been conditioned to think of the black man. Meanwhile here's they are flowing like water on the skate ring. Bad ass. Keep it up 💪💪💪💪

Just like before all the cocaine was poured into the streets of South Central L.A., this was a every weekend get together! Yup!! The era between 1970's to 1979. I mean talk about watching some awesome skaters strut their talents out there on the floor was sooo much fun to watch!!! Then in 1980 it all stopped. Soooo glad it's back and tge fantastic music of the 70's, and 80's to go with it too. Just watching takes me back 40 years. I am 60. So glad a whole new generation has revived it. I am so proud!!!

What type of high tops are those? I found I could skate this “JB” style before I knew it was a style using my cousins skates. The low cut skates were different. Also the wheels are smaller correct?

It's all in the balance as well, they know where go put the weight at the right time. Practice by balancing on the 2 front wheels. Once you can hold for a couple minutes, weave your feet in and out, only using the 2 front wheels. That's how you practice that part of the balance.

I love this. I was never very coordinated to skate good. I spent most of my time trying to keep my wheels on the floor . Lol I love watching these people have so much fun.
Oh my goodness! 😳. I'm old school and we thought we had it going on!.😂 But these kids today "are the bomb!" Oooh whee! And the awesome thing about it is, they skate like that and nobody trained them. They just created dance moves on skates. Absolutely superb!! ☺️. Oooh whee!!!!
