Serious question: From 3:39 to 5:03, could you please release an album with you jamming in that style? I got goosebumps from head to toe listening to it.
As a DnB/Jungle producer I have always been inspired by Goldie, who, it turns out, used the H3000 for the pitching/time stretching effects on not only Terminator, but on Inner City Life.
Was using an Eventide H3000 Ultra-Harmonizer in the studio I was recording my first album in back in the late 80s. Between the Eventide, the luscious Lexicon PCM-70 and the Yamaha Rev-1 and SPX-90 I was in effects heaven! I'm surprised the album even got finished! :)
This is the Processor This is awesome I know that Mr. Eventide is reading and... We need rack effect processor, we do not have space on our desks for pseudo stomp boxes, we need racks and possibly some more affordable for normal musicians 😆 again great processor and so nice video
**Song Remake Challenge: Laura Branigan - Self Control** Seems totally up your alley. SUCH a good and in depth song with so many detailed tracks going on. Really listen to the music. Mind blowing for an early 80's song!
Si, veramente, but the used algorithm Blackhole can also be purchased as a plugin from Eventide. We could argue about sonic differences, but if any, they are really, really subtle.
YES! do you know that this is one of the best Analog to Digital converter? the loop of AD/DA is the best ONE with Null Test close -80Db The Sound from A/D of H9000 input? or the Loop-Mix-Machine A/D
that's an aspirational bit of gear, right there. as a user of the old H3000 and then the Eclipse, i love eventide stuff and this is next level. so many algorithms are just inspirational. try the tape delay, the one on the Eclipse is super nice.
To those complaining about the cost of the Eventide H9000 obviously have NO idea how much studio professional equipment costs. This is not a consumer product, it is for professional use in studios and for pro musicians.
Then please don’t show it on this channel…99.9% of viewers won’t be able to pay 7000€ for an effect machine. What’s the point in showing it other than the obvious promotion for the company… Way too many sponsor videos the recent times
@@scrubsjl Well there, bud, it's obvious you can't afford it. Therefore, you should try this thing many of us do, it's the supernatural ability of ignoring and avoiding things we don't want to see on the internet.
@@th8132 Well that’s kinda why I stopped watching to comment bud :-) Checked the price halfway through the video and after that it became uninteresting and I checked the comments. Appreciate your reply though, imma try to be more ignoring next time🤙
This sounds amazing. Thanks Claudio for making this video, and Eventide for making such great gear 🤩 Got the plugins but this is on another level, and so is your playing 🙌
The first Rhodes+Moog ambient-jam was so beautiful, I wish you would've played it for the lenght of a tape-side (while I'm recording it on tape, of course).
I have the Boss SE-70 from 1995. I use it from ever. It's stereo..and if you want you can use one channel clean and one channel distort separately. It has expression pedal and if you want you can use midi to control 4 CC of effects parameter. It has built in tune for guitar..bass and keyboard. And it has metronome too..😍 The 90's racks are the best✌🏻
unreachable for most of us mere mortals, but the H8000 is just astounding and goes used for 3x times less ... they are all great, even the Eventide Space pedal has a few algorythms like the one for Black Hole and the modulated reverb one is fabulous, and some prefer it for it's caracter caracter, it has for some reason a better sound than the H9 imo
Agree! That thing is from another world. Eventide is best for a long time. This comes 8000 bucks. Think it´s worth it! Just bought the Rhodes Anthology last weekend, and that´s already supercool!
I actually pressed pause and hit like for you Claudio. That piece was sublime. Comments below piss and moan about cost etc, but its top top top end, and you pay extra for that. Eventide started in 1971. So 53 years of development in this one product. 🤔👍
Since it has 8 DB25 inputs and outputs, I'd be interest to see whether it can do DIFFERENT effects for different inputs, e.g. a black hole and a chorus for your Moog and a delay and a bitcrusher for your Rhodes? I couldn't find any details on Eventide's website in this regard, only the "total of 16 reverbs at the same time" (that would be 2 per 8 tracks, I presume, who needs 16 reverbs on one track anyway?). Can you show this?
@@InXLsisDeo Depends which Minimoog VST you are using - there are so many - Synapse Audio ‘The Legend’, Cherry Audio Miniverse, UAD Moog Minimoog, Arturia Mini V3, Moog Music Minimoog Model D But the Eventide VSTs (except for Blackhole) come nowhere near the real H9000 :( and the H9000 makes such a big difference

It's a sick bit of gear. People whine about the price but I also have $4000 keyboards, compressors, guitars, bases and preamps. So what? If you can't afford it you can't afford it. Welcome to Earth.
Really good machine.. but for anybody who wants that sound but don‘t have 8k get the H90. It is really good and has the same sound plus an App as well to edit and program won sounds.
I love this. I really do. But seriously... you either have to be an extremely successful musician, a music or post production studio owner, or someone who just has money to burn to buy this. This is definitely NOT for the hobbyist. Nice demo tho. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the showing. And yes, it would be great to see more of this H9000.
At the price point of almost $8k USD, this is the only place I'll be interacting with the H9000 😅
More H9000 and Rhodes please!
@hamman_samuel this is a Rolls Royce. Actually inexpensive considering the decades of heritage. And cheap if you actually use it for intended setting.
Nearly $12,600 in Australia.
But you can buy an H90 and believe, there is a lot of good stuff in it already.
As a DnB/Jungle producer I have always been inspired by Goldie, who, it turns out, used the H3000 for the pitching/time stretching effects on not only Terminator, but on Inner City Life.
Time stretching as a realtime effect? How could this work even only theoretically?
Got it 2 years ago, and yes! It is perfect!
And its such a good value at $100.
😂😂😂😂
That's the Behringer version that's $100 you're thinking of.
like your sarcasm... its $8000 usd my man!
I got the Blackhole pedal for 200. I love it.
in my country its 9,396 us dollars...
I can see how having effects like this on hand could actually inspire your creativity because of the way it turns a simple melody into a masterpiece.

There is a Black hole Plug in from Event sometimes for 29,- it sounds the Same. It is a Must have!
I have my minimog, sub 37, virus ti2 and prophet 6 attached to my H9000 ALL THE TIME.
3:22 is just pure magic. Grazie Claudio!

Eventide employee here. It can totally do that. I have it set up that way right now in my home studio.
As a guitar player, Eventide already been associated in my mind to the H3000S used by Steve Vai on Passion & Warfare for harmonization :)
what lush sounding reverb !
Amazingly Pink Floydy! I love it!

yeah I'm trying to emulate it with my software synth but I can't figure out how to make it sound like the real moog. :(
