A shame he passed before seeing the release of his work. Im not familiar with him.. or his work in the industry but im sure he was proud of the success of what you guys did as a team.. death is... promised to us all.. just had a co worker of about 10 yrs pass away .. at work at that.. and he was only 36.. its been like a month and I still haven't been able to believe it

You connected via a bit of the weird, inexplicable chance of the universe and now he'll live on to strangers via the work you did together, which isn't a stamp on time everybody gets, so he achieved something brilliant and you played a part. Your project might always be bittersweet now, but I've no doubt it made his last chapter something he would be so happy to have had written the way it was, which would have also given him some optimism for his future.
