i like Arcadia bay, but Chloe is going to be alive in my first playthrough of this game...

Half of people can't even figure out her real age If it's been a decade she should be 28, but no official time period has been stated,
Why can't you people remember anything? ll. I'm 53 and remember Max Caulfield was in a prestigious HIGH School for the Advanced, and her Specialty was photography, and it was more than 4 years for me last I played, And I have swiss cheese for memory.
I hate that I can’t remember, it worries me! But I think because I’ve been playing endless games on stream since then and half talking to chat always takes a chunk of my brain as well 🙈 but it does make replays all the more exciting!
@@ErinCaseyGamers To True! Anyway, I was referring to Everyone. No one seems to remember one of the most influential Story driven games ever made despite how much they say they love it!
Since this game was revealed. I have seen people complaining about it. I've seen people be like. Max lost her powers after the first game ended, despite there being no in-game evidence of it. I've seen people saying this is just a cash grab by Square Enix in a last ditch effort to bring new life to the franchise.
While I will be unable to play it when it comes out (I'm on a slightly outdated machine, it is sadly the reason why I have yet to play True Colors), I am looking forward to the return of Max.
I'm glad that their not canonizing either ending of the first Life is Strange game. That there will be references to Chloe, even if she isn't in the game itself.
The one thing people don't get about the Save Bae ending of LiS. Is that Don't Nod left it open ended. They wanted us to decide who lived and died, it was why there was no bodies on the street as Chloe drove through town. I've had people tell me that I never played the game and tried to tell me there were bodies, that people were confirmed dead. Unless bodies were added in the remaster (which I've never played) there was never bodies added to the Save Bae ending.
I expect since their not canonizing either ending of LiS that Chloe's absence makes it simpler on them story wise. Sure it would be nice to see Chloe, but how do you work it, if you choose the Save Bay ending for your Double Exposure playthrough. Leaving Chloe out of the actual story is better than trying to shoehorn her in for one playthrough. It's better to let her remain in the background in journal entries, pictures, and text messages than to try and add her, It's why she and Max don't really make a cameo in LiS 2 other than via a phone call to David if you chose the Save Bae when playing LiS 2.
Thank you for this comment! It's sad to leave Chloe behind but definitely complicated if they were to really add her in. I'm pretty happy with this decision and excited to play as Max again! I want to replay LIS 1 to fully refresh my memory too before the release.
I have played two life is strange games the first one and the second one I know life strange true colours is a good one to Erin the new one looks awesome
Oh you definitely should play True Colors. It's like the best one imo. It also has a cozier vibe whereas the other games are a bit busy in their setting

@@ErinCaseyGamers I've not been able to play True Colors (I need to upgrade), but from what I've seen of other gamers playthroughs. It is definitely up there with the original Life is Strange. Just from watching the playthroughs I liked it's story as much as both LiS and Before the Storm and more than LiS 2.

True Colors is a good game but its my least favourite in the franchise!

I played before the storm as well already, but I like the idea of starting with the prequel. Maybe I will do that too if there’s time
