Great job! Man I have been waiting years to see a video of how to play that high tom part from 3:20-3:50- nicely done I could never figure that out. In my opinion that is the toughest part of the solo & I think this solo was Neil's toughest to play. Hats off thanks for the video!

Very very good, and you have the right kit setup, I have the same, one thing to note is your crashes and splash are choked to tight, loosen the mandrel under the cymbal and turn them down, this will open them up

Very very nice! I had doubts, as like a lot of drummers who started on this solo 40+ years ago and knows every note, this is brutal to get 'right', but man, you nailed it! All the tones rising and falling at the right points. That "workaround" with the epads and the cowbell tree was highly noteworthy. 🥁🤘

Btw, if my comment comes across goofy or silly, I understand, but the respect I have for you is huge, hopefully this paragraph of “Rush” language will be really simple to understand…. You have a great set of “Mystic Rhythms” going on with your drumming. This must be a “Marathon” to attempt. If doin a drumming cover at “Force Ten” is a “Mission”, wow dude, you have “deviated from the norm” and gave us “Vital Signs” of excellent Rush drum covers. Make sure to “hold your fire, keep it burning bright, hold the flame til the Dream ignites”. You’re a huge “Superconductor” and I’m happy that you’re enjoying what you do. Now, keep being out there, rock out and Roll The Bones. Lol I’ve prob gone too far now. Anyways, AMAZING ❤️🤘. Cheers. (I wish there was a Rush beer emoji, but that’ll never happen lol)

Thanks a lot! YYZ is a song that has been permanently engraved in my brain for years since I’ve played it for so long. As a matter of fact, my very first video was a YYZ cover as well. I just listened to it again a couple of times to pick up some of the more minute details I may have missed in my older covers. It’s definitely one of my favourite songs to play! Oh and I’ve been playing for 9 years.
Hey I remember seeing your comments from a few years ago! Haha, I respect your opinion. The Tamas and Ludwigs especially had such an amazing tight timbre that the DWs can’t quite replicate, but I still enjoy playing this kit and I think it still sounds solid. Thanks for checking out my channel!
