This game was awesome. Put on chill music and just drive to the vista points. There’s an exploit you can do to use any vehicle on any race, so one of the dirt bikes was my go-to for the hard races
I've had the same copy of this amazing game since 2008. And I must say, it has the best ps3 graphics I've ever seen for an post apocalyptic racing game. Plus, this game shouldn't get remastered. It should have a remake. Or have a FUEL 2. With the remake, they BETTER add a custom garage in all the territories for the players to create their own cars. Which I think would be awesome. And for the parts, you need FUEL for upgrades.
@@justinhermann9584 actually the sounds like a better idea. Maybe with the beginner bike, the Sludgeray. Keep the speed at 1 but the acceleration all the way to the max. Like as fast acceleration wise as the Damocles. Perhaps that'll help the Sludgeray to hit a better top speed rather than like 78mph
This game's map size is 14.000 square kilometers... GTA 5 is just 80... It uses a procedural generated map. Each time you play a new game the map is diferent. But it looks so good most of the time you dont even notice its generated.
You're kind of confusing what procedural generation means. It's not different every time. In fact it's the same every time. It's like using the same seed (your saved map) in Minecraft. Also, it's actually real world elevation data while "procedurally" filling in the spaces between those elevation points.
There are very few mods for this uncut gem. Mostly graphics and bug fixes (one allows you to drive the Damocles in free roam). Wish there are more like adding Mad Max's vehicles.
try disabling all anti-malware software and other protection software or safe guard option in the settings privacy then run as administrator the installer setup executable
buy a key for the steam version but a key for this game is around 150$ US it's a complète joke i wish we can still buy this game on steam for 6.99 dollars

There are walkthroughs which suggest how to beat those races, either using shortcuts or even suggesting to cheat once or twice 😂 I sorta rage-quit the year the game came out, returned after a while but a BSOD during saving corrupted the save file. I had played through about 20-25% of the game. I installed it recently and I'm thinking of playing through it, but I'll make back-ups of the save file from time to time. I installed the RESHADED mod, makes the game even prettier, but even before installing it something is wrong with the rendering, it looks awful and I can't force anisotropy through the drivers...

The same studio that developed this also made The Crew.
You should have to drive to certain spots depending on the vehicle, and collect parts, that you can then use to upgrade said rig with fuel points.

@Maître Yoda In Motorstorm you can settle for 3rd to progress, replay those races to improve. Much more enjoyable.
Could win with miles driven, barrels collected, zones or vistas visited etc.
