I am glad you reviewed this place because I have been debating about going there. Last year I ate at Maria and Enzo's and was totally underwhelmed. I had chicken parmesan and I would say that it kind of tasted just like a frozen dinner chicken parmesan. I thought it was overpriced as well and I vowed I wouldn't eat there again. I did not know that this was a shared kitchen otherwise Enzo's would have never been on my list. So thank you very much for the review and I know that it's off my bucket list to go there.
I agree. Disney Italian is just ‘fine’. North East Italian food is the best in America as a general rule. All those Italian immigrants left great food roots here. I had a friend who grew up in Kansas and she was blown away when she came here and ate Italian here. She had never even eaten a cannoli!
Somebody once told me that Enzo’s Hideaway would be a very fine place if they knocked about $10 off most items, but the current value just isn’t worth it. Based on your experience, that seems fairly accurate!
You had me at Gorgonzola-stuffed olive. Great honest review! My Italian food comparison is Olive Garden & Fazoli’s. I wouldn’t go back to Enzo’s, but I did have a good $30 spaghetti and meatballs. I had an amazing chicken parmigiana at Maria & Enzo’s and will definitely go back there someday. Phenomenal restaurant! (Compared to Olive Garden)
I haven’t had it but I hear good things about the one at City Works and Polite Pig in Disney Springs. Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. I have had the one at Backlot Express in Studios and it is not good lol
