The way he reacted tells me that Josh is not who he has in mind. It’s the fan base pushing it, but let this man bring in who he truly wants. Fuck what the fans say.
So here's the thing. The season Vrabel would have seen McDaniels as an OC was 2007. Vrabel left the Pats in 2008 (the year that Brady went down). Vrabel went on media this morning and gave a note about analytics, something to the effect of "If you don't have Tom Brady, your chance of winning games passing 50 times a game is 20 percent." Vrabel obviously has a lens of looking at what is done without Tom and what Josh did with Tom, and his success rate without him. Josh may be the best name on the list, but it's not like he's not going to be heavily scrutinized. Plus Josh is the best known name that has left the team three times. Might not be the best fit rn.
Fuck what the fans say? The fans helped fire Mayo. We know what we want. But I agree with you that Josh might not be Mike’s number one oc choice judging from what he said. On the other hand I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they hire him
I love the idea of hiring Josh McDaniels as OC. His system works with great quarterbacks, not with crappy ones. He will match up so great with Mike as the head coach and Drake as the QB. Man, it would be so amazing. They would have some awesome plays and as the years go by the team will just get better and better and we will get a Super Bowl banner yet again in Foxborough within four years probably maybe five. It’s not gonna happen overnight. Look at Josh Allen. He’s still trying to get one.
Rees is off the list. OC in Cleveland. What is the narrative that McDaniels is behind the times. His offenses evolved over time. Look at what he did with Mac Jones in his first year.
Wolfe sucks at drafting he shouldn't be there. Or if he is don't give him any chance to draft. Or pick players. He took Polk over McConkey such a dumb move. Should of never got rid of Bill's son on Defense.

Abdul Carter would be a game changer. I’d be really happy if we took him, Tmac, or Kelvin Banks.
Yup! Abdul Carter should be the pick

Keefe is big baby because he got called out but Courtney 😂 for not doing his job right?
TC is still in mourning that his BFF Mayo is gone!

Nick caley!
Do we want Eliot to have a role? I think it’s one more Chef in the kitchen.
Of course not.
