Shadows Fall has returned to the Shadows Fall i'm sure others, and I definately have come to know and love. I've always loved their music since Threads Of Life, and Redemption was my favorite song, but every single one of these songs tops all of their past ones. I love Shadows Fall. Right now I bet they're saying to themselves. " Still I Rise". ;)

Yeah, man. Trivium, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, August Burns Red, Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive... That's real metalcore. Not the Attack Attack/Woe Is Me/Pierce The Veil/Random Emo Band crap.
The band must reunite and make a new shit again. Fire from the Sky might not be the best album from SF but since they broke up, this album is one of the memories of how good the metalcore they are playing.
Now, we have only Trivium, Unearth, Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive that are still survive today.
RIP to the great early metalcore bands that are not survive or no longer exist:

ive actually heard it all depends where you are, some places actually do get away with letting some interesting obscure stuff in, in philly, their actually starting to let in some bands like all that remains, slipknot, etc. for radio play believe it or not
While other bands sell out and make rubbish, Shadows Fall does this. Take note: All That Remains.

Check out Killswitch Engage's new album, it sounds a lot like Shadows Fall. I guess because they're both Massachusetts Metalcore bands.
Thats because Adam D.(kse's guitarrist) produced this álbum.

Yup, it was many of those bands that got me into heavier metal when I was a kid. I've long since listened to metalcore and have moved on to different and heavier genres since then, but I still have to pay homage to them. But I totally agree that those newer shitty emo metalcore bands are soiling the the genre. Fuck those bands.

I still feel that Retribution is my favorite album, but this is by no means bad. This album has a bit more metalcore influence, and metalcore isn't my cup of tea, but this album is good nonetheless.
Try Elitist I reckon, they're decent. And I know this conversation happened 10 months ago, but Elitist are ggggoood. They're metalcore but not much like Shadows Fall. Still good tho.

Am i the only one that thinks after the war within this band kind of nevr did anything descent.. I mean offcourse for new american metal fans its better, but i persnally believe of one blood, the art of balance and the war within were way better than any of their later albums

your right ether way there is alooooot of metal out there and its really hard to throw all of it into one genre i say we just shut up and listen to it all and not throw it into a classification label and just enjoy what metal has to offer i mean mainstream music doesn't have these kinds of options to choose from for it is heavily simplified but metal no matter how it sounds will be complicated that's why people like it so much that's why i love it how about all of you
