    Good video, helped me get through the job.
    For anyone wondering, yes it can be done with just the included car jack. My own jack was too short to reach the lifting point under the engine bay and i didn't have any sort of ramps on hand so i couldn't lift the car on stands. One thing i discovered is unclipping the bumper from the wheel well is extremely tricky with just steering the wheels away so i resorted to just taking them off. It could maybe be done with some sort of hook tool but you run the risk of damaging the clips.

    Very helpful tutorial 👌
    I have been meaning to install my new Hella horns but now have more confidence to take the bumper off. Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks very much for this "how to video"!
    Is it possible to undo the clips, screw, and foglight plug under the wheel arch by just steering away the wheel and without removing it?
    Many thanks!

    Great video, thanks for the great info, can you confirm that there’s no need to recalibrate the radar just by unplugging the plug to remove the np bumper? I’ve read about it in some forum and can’t confirm it anywhere else.
    Thanks for the attention.

    • @RotheliRacing
      @RotheliRacing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need for recalibration. 👍

    Very helpful tutorial! Can it be done without removing the wheels and lifting the car? Just with the included car jack.
    I got multiple gravel impacts on the intercooler and need to remove the bumper to straighten the fins

      @RotheliRacing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it could be done. But have never tried it and wouldn‘t really recommend it.
      If you can reach the bolts in the wheel arch, it‘s possible.

    Hilfreiches Video! Könntet ihr bei Gelegenheit auch mal in nem Video festhalten wie man die vordere Abdeckung des Abschlepphakens am Besten löst bzw entfernt. Kann dazu nix finden im Netz :(

    • @RotheliRacing
      @RotheliRacing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ziehen. 😁 Einfach nur von Hand ziehen.
      In den Bremskanal greifen und von da ziehen.
      Dauert 5s dann ist die Abdeckung weg.

    Hi Guys, another great video! Would you consider a rear bumper removal and install? I've got to change mine, an asshole drove into mine and cracked the top! I got a replacement from Toyota, but I'm not sure how to install it! Cheers!

      Haven‘t removed that yet to be honest. 😅
      So far no need. 😁
      But i‘ll look into it.

      Same! I got mine cracked on exactly thr same spot in the same way. It is very flimsy

    • @chrisbenard7509
      @chrisbenard7509 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Gryphus-R Yes very light and flimsy, I might try a heat gun and a repair from underneath. The bumper cover cost $150 (weights about 500grams!) put the paint job would be much more! I'll have a crack at painting it myself one day and look at repairing the old one. I found out how to remove it. Remove the 2 bolts remove rear liners and unclip the corners!

      @RotheliRacing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gerne.
      Und das ist meiner Meinung nach etwas was nicht jeder zuhause machen sollte.
      Und da es auch nicht ganz ungefährlich ist, werde ich dazu eher kein DIY machen.
