The last highests floods we'd enfaced were in the 40's. Athough my hometown has dozens of dams surround it, we have never receive training on these matters.
Brazil also has flooding every single year, but unfortunately our governments do almost nothing to prevent or at least reduce the tragedies and losses that always happen, year after year. 😢😢

Imma a gaúcha, I'm from that region. The situation is even worst than you guys said. At least 29 had died, around 60 are missing. It turns out these floods will be even higher than the Historical Floods in 1941.
Pray and Repent!!! This is not a normal flood. God is in control of nature. Brazil need to repent and cry to the lord for help.
Updated data indicates more than 50 deaths and thousands of missing due to the magnetic anomaly above RS or calls for authorities to take action and investigate the nature of the magnetic anomaly.

this state alone is the size of the whole UK (UK not England) and Brazil spans over 4000km from it's northernmost point to the southernmost point.

Brazil is the only country in the world where it's CONTIGUOUS AREA crosses BOTH the equator AND a tropic (in this case, the tropic of Capricorn).

I'm Brazilian and just passing by to remember: it's not just in Brazil that catastrophes are happening, this year there was an earthquake in Japan, Tornado in the United States, floods in Kenya, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia. I’m brazilian and my family lives in the south of Brazil. They have no food or water. Bodies are flooding on the streets. The river took over. It’s chaotic over there. Alligators were found swimming between people. Several dogs, cats, pigs and horses drowned. So far 80+ deaths confirmed by the government. They are accepting donations from all over the world.

The intense rains in the southernmost brazilian state are caused exactly because there is a HOT AND DRY high pressure area over all of central Brazil. The humidity circles the amazon in anti-clockwise and when it reaches Rio Grande do Sul state, it is being blocked by cold fronts coming from the south and also ocean currents from the east... all over the same state.
But the humidity can´t go through this wall of dry high pressure.
What that means is that central Brazil is going to a dry spell already... they want this water... that is all falling over a SINGLE state.

Wasted 30 years of my life to help bring awareness and to prepare the world for climate change. I feel like a failure to our world.
I honestly don't understand why people don't listen or understand the serious impacts of the daily lives around the world.
The solution to climate change is so simple. You can't stop climate change if your trying to capitalize on climate change solutions.
The cause and effect of climate change and capitalism is cancelling out and actually making things worse.
Now are you seeing the big picture on what researcher solutions actual are. They want to make more money off the problem money created.
Inflation hasn't stopped for centuries. Carbon Capture is a scam to capitalize of carbon tax and who pays the tax? Everyone and that will cause more demand for money causing more inflation. Common sense.
The researchers are not using common sense or the governments are manipulating the people. The melting of the ice around the world is causing an error in the data people are using. You see all the flooding around the world right. That is rapid condensation like putting a pot on the stove with water and putting a lid on top. When the heat gets intense against that temporary cooling effect natural disasters-global climate crisis will exponentially get worse. Remember the severe droughts and then all of a sudden global flooding in every country. That is the cause and effect of climate change. Throw in rapid escalation of climate change and natural disasters become more frequent. Global Climate Change isn't slowing down it is speeding up. The slavery to money that humanity created is causing global climate change. Concrete produces more heat than grass. Metal produces more heat than wood. Wood dries up and catches fire. Ocean pressure and vibrational activity from human activity along with climate change causes earthquakes and volcanoes to be more active.
Inflation causes humans to demand more money so more activity around the world with non essential jobs are created increasing capitalism demands for money. The problem is the demand for money is the cause. Remove money from society and the world will calm down.
Honestly it is a waste of time, not because it's a bad idea but purely because of greed. There is no stopping countries burning fossil fuels and using oil until the last drop has been consumed.
I remember when the big oil companies had the epiphany moment to create a 'carbon footprint' and redirected all the negativity and responsibility off the huge oil companies and instead make individuals feel guilty and responsible for their consumption - it was a master stroke!
Now it's all you hear about, how you *personally* are destroying the planet whilst these mega corporations and conglomerates swim in vast oceans of money 💰

The consequences come years after so it is hard for people to understand it, and the government back then was very happy with pretending there was no problem at all.

Road troopers have fined lorry motorists bringing food and water supply into the affected places claiming that they need receipts to that. The State Governor is a too-week sould, he seems not to care about the victims as long as he is safe. This portrays how the far-left government have collapsed. More CO2 in the atmosphere makes it to retain more heat - which makes it to retain more water vapor - which increases rainfall in catastrophic ways in some places, all the while causing catastrophic droughts and wildfires in other places, like they had never been seen before.

I just see that CO2 keeps getting all the blame but if even the concentration of O2 was to increase relative to the N2 content then the climate would also be impacted. The real solution is to find more ways to produce energy without burning fuels. All these alkanes can easily be used in different ways especially as it regardless to geo thermal systems

The deforestation of the Amazon forest has concequences.
The Amazon forest is located 5.000 Km away from that State. You also can look at the map how the forests in that State are mostly intact, unlike in your Country.
The USA is closer to the Amazon than the place where this flood happened...
