A sleepless night, 3am, Frankfurt am Main. A lonely Mister Patina scrollin‘ through TH-cam when the Master of Beer‘n‘brass uploaded a Video and mentioned, that I’ll be gifted with this awesome restored press. Now the Mister Patina doesnt feel lonely anymore. Bro, thanks so much for this awesome piece and your shoutout. Really, thank you! ❤️
I wish I did remember but I don't. I remember the gun being used to squirt someone in the face and then grease got all over the floor and people started falling down exactly what you would expect from an old movie. I want to say it was an early Chaplin short film (before the ramp character) but I am not certain. Sorry.
Hello again doc, enjoyed the restoration. That old tool deserves to be hanging on display in Mr Patina's living room! Beautiful piece in my opinion. You didn't have to put a lengthy amount of time into it but one sweet result. Thank you for recording it. I'm sure M. P. appreciated such a beautiful gift...I would!!!
First I'll will say great editing and effects. Loved the beginning. Great restoration. Please l would love to see more old and also unique tools. They show great character of how old tools got the job done in the past compared to today's tools. Older the better. They will same great attention as other videos I've seen from you. Thank you.
That intro was INSANE. You’re quickly moving up as my favorite restoration channel of all time. That was a masterpiece. I’m actually losing it rn hahaha
Hi Dr. Beer, sitting sick at home and starting to watch all of ur restorations. I love the work u put in these tools to show the skills and ideas, that the former inventors had. At the beginning of this video i thought OMG now he gets mad... Restoring the Deathstar might take a longer video than 20 minutes:). I do like the "silent way" u show ur work to us. Greetings

Hey NTR, love the videos, I've watched them all and just realized I forgot to subscribe! Looking forward to all the more to come ! Love the beer reviews by the way!
@@NTRprojects Haha that a tough one you do a great job on all of your restorations. If I had to pick one to take home with me though it would be a toss up between the goliath vise and the cracked screwdriver. I love what you did with the handle !
Nicely done. A lovely job on the old grease gun. Just because something is old doesn’t mean it’s useless. I miss German beer. I got spoiled with it when I visited Germany on a few occasions. Unfortunately you can’t get really good German beer in Western Canada despite the large German population we have. Even my German husband can’t find decent beer here.
Beautiful brass...silver and brass are my favorite metals. You did such a great job bringing it back to its beauty. And, I can hardly wait for you to find a beer you rate as No. 1, whereupon I will run out and buy it! 👍🏽. Stay well, and enjoy creating a new workshop. Peace 💫
New subscriber, Nice job! .. to think how things were made back in the day, quality and meant to last! I'm going back to those days and started by getting my hands on an old 1959 Maytag wringer washer, it's all mechanical , belt driven and is a workhorse.
Glad you found a new home with fewer restrictions on your work. Excellent restoration of the old grease gun. It's okay that tools are beautiful and feel good in the hand. Sorry the beer was not up to your expectations.
What a nice and thoughtful comment. Thank you for your support. I'm super excited for the new space as well. Working constantly so it will be a real workshop. I was upset about the ranking too, because I like the beer in general, but if you rate the different categories it's falling a little behind. Have a great day Thomas
@@NTRprojects you do a beautiful job. It looks so good now I am sure Mr. patina will love it. Keep up your excellent work and I will see you in future videos.
Great video! How is Darmstadt these days? I used to live there back in the early 2000s ('02 to '05). Worked with some German craftsmen when I printed the Stars and Stripes over in Griesheim and I always appreciated their machining skills.

It only shows that you don't need a fancy workshop and tools to do restorations. Great work, keep it up, but... cut a bit down these special effects, this is a video about restoration of a forgotten and neglected tool, not a Star Wars look-a-like :)
A job well done, of course. But I think that polishing is superfluous for such tools. Scratches and greasy dirt are too visible on it. Satin is a more suitable surface treatment.
