Except there's nothing there. Honestly should have put an artifact cave in there somewhere, decent amounts of Pearl's and maybe some air pockets for at least smaller bases. As it is, unless you make the tek parts it's fairly unlivable and takes up a bunch of area for essentially an area to tame mosas.

PrimalAcro 321 that would be cool for mainly aquatic maps, but for this instance most of the Valgeuro map is covered in land, a giant monitor lizard which is amphibious could suit the environment/map better then the koolasuchus *but then again, its just a opinion yours could be completely different*

My lil bro and I actually accidentally found that area,and when we entered it there was a Tustheiosaurs and 2 Plseousaurs and the creatures we were using to check out the area was a Baryonyx and a Sarchosuchus but when we looked around more there were 2 Alpha megalodons so we bailed out and never went back in there since.(Split screen on Xbox 1)
Che is still alive they are nodes that you place on dinos that cones with tracking remote. Press the remote and all the dinos that have nodes pop up in the screen and show how far they from you.
A little information for the people who are talking about Steve not showing map cords, the places he came out of the water are not that hard to find. Just look at the area he was in, the place where he went in is near the far end of the giant lake, the second in up in the cold biom, and the final was at the other end of the lake near the white cliffs. Now about him not using scuba gear, he was in spectator mode, meaning he didn't have a body. So, in conclusion, he showed land marks that are easily found for the entrances, and you don't have a body when in spectator mode. Good job Steve, thank you.
You can fit a Mosasaurus in through all 3 water entrances (although the top left entrance only brings you to the surface in a cave obviously, there is no connection to the river system).
Damn I still get chills when I see the face of a Plesio... they look so creepy and I remember the first time I explored the ocean and see one of thems... damn it destroyed me so hard xD
Ha ha ha. My first acquaintance was also very frightening. I’m right now on Valguero, I climbed a dolphin to explore a hole, I don’t know how I had the courage to swim to the end of the third terrace in this long tunnel, where really deep water begins. This damn Plesio sensed me before I noticed him - just a huge radius of aggro! He pursued me all the time while I ran to the exit. I was happy that I well pumped speed and endurance to a dolphin, Plesio was damn fast! It was level 135, so when I was saved, I decided that I needed to take a chance and tame it. I took a couple of megalodons with me in support and set a trap. He was still there, in the tunnel, I let him notice myself and led him to a trap, I swam into it and waited at the exit. He swamed close and bited. When I saw the damage in the amount of 1980 - it made me shited a ton of bricks !!! I just ran away again, not remembering myself! And only then, after some time, I realized that it was damage on a wooden frame XD And yes, it was a mistake to take the middle frames - he did not fit into them, in any case. But for a long time I had a fear of them, until I tamed Basilosaurus and dared to fight him. I was surprised that he had pretty ordinary damage, ha ha ha.
I feel like it should have way more resources than it does considering the danger involved in going in the ocean, especially with limited options for escape if you're too far in.
I dont know if im the only one, but i really dont like the water in ARK or ATLAS because i get scared very easily... and when something comes up from behind i would scream xD
I fear the ocean in real life but here in ark is where i thrive in it i love the ocean its easily my favorite place i just wish it was easier to do bases in the water.
Play subnautica, it helps a little bit to get more comfortable in these dark deep sea environments without tons of creatures gunning for you. Once you get comfortable enough, know your limits and go prepared.

Only the second time I've seen mention of this map, first video to watch. What's the importance of the underground ocean? Artifacts? What creatures are a new addition? Does this map have Wyverns or Rock Drake's? Any new biomes? The "cliffs" look like a great spot to build a base, but possibly an "easy?" section of the map having seen nothing but turtles and Parasaur. You may answer these questions in your map tour (guess you posted one having read comments)? That would require a lot of water breathing soups or lots of scuba tanks.
I know I'm not the one you want to answers from, but I can help you. There are no rock drakes currently but the map creator wants to add them in. There are wyverns in this map, and I believe the only new creature is the deinonychus. I don't know about the artifacts, but it's a chance that they are there. Have a good day hope this helped😁

Nifty video, liked it, I was exploring the areas and found a few entrances, but not the behind the waterfall one. I'm not a huge fan of the water areas, less control and ypu have to worry about air as well as other dangers, if you did this video in songleplayer that would explain the lack of action and maybe dinos in water, unless it is supposed to be that "empty", found the singleplayer has different spawns and they take time to load. It's nice to see such large areas to swim and explore, but bummer the tek underwater stuff is endgame stuff, wpuld be really cool to build tek compartments down there. Thanks for the video.
I’m nervous it won’t load well for console. Extinction still has problems loading the terrain. Seems like everywhere I walk the terrain jumps and goes into potato mode.
When Steve first pops back out of the ocean and shows the three pointy rocks with the waterfalls, it shud be noted there is a massive deposit of crystal and metal inside a large cavern behind the waterfalls directly under those 3 pointy rocks, another way to find it is to go northwest of the beaver moore, just follow the water 😁

I was exploring the underwater sea and found a couple places you can swim through the mesh. Must be lots because i found each spot randomly not even looking just hugging wall to avoid mosa or plesi.
Where are the squids? , I don't think there's any lol and you can find Silica Pearls and oil rocks near the entrance on the shore where the cliffs meet the wood area easy and safe.
This area is great and all but there really doesn’t seem like any good reason to go down there. Maybe if they added water wyverns, serpents or some big water creatures you could steal eggs from or tame.
If this map had a Desert and small Biome or Cave for Extinction dinos. This will be an awesome map of any type of player. PvE, lots of things to discover. PvP, OMG!!! I love it!!!
It doesn't look like it since it seems to just be an underground ocean with only the entrance caves not being flooded and even if there was you need to be on a piece of land or something to place the raft

The ark megalodon is actually properly sized in ark. They weren’t as big as a Boeing 747. As big as a school bus, which is how big they appear in game.
@@level1dodo896 you were able to upgrade flyer's movement speed, making them fly faster, but it's been nerfed. Trust me, it's a good nerf, cuz pvp on flyer's was a nightmare
If you enter the under world ocean by way of crystal cave, you can't swim back up. Dinos get stuck also, there's an invisible ceiling about 30 feet down.
My only issue is that this underground ocean is alot of space with not much to do. Black pearls and tames are there but thats it. No secret cave entrances or anything.
1000 oxygen down there would result in 90% of time spent travelling back and forth, just for oxygen. Any drugs we may be on don’t compare to the crack you must be smoking. Scuba tanks all day, if you must only equip scuba tank to refill your oxygen then unequip to make your tanks last a lot longer. Talking about 1000 oxygen like you have no experience in the ocean.
Sadly the under water creatures don't spawn there is a glitch tusos please and Mosas don't spawn on certain servers they spawn when an update and when a roll back happens it's sad 😫

Unfortunately the devs havent supported the ocean since the island, and no other official map even has an ocean. Sadly theres really no reason to visit the ocean in valguero besides maybe black pearls, or you like getting mosas and squids stuck in the shallow lake above. Maybe it has some sneaky uses in pvp for getting around and escaping, but its very disappointing they didnt put an artifact down there at least. Most people will likely visit it once or never
Ya know what would be nice IF HE TOLD US THE COORDINATES OF THE FREAKIN ALTERNATE EXITS/ENTERS. I have a base right next to one . But i don't have time to go looking for the Enter.
This is actually a really smart solution to maximizing land mass but still having an ocean for Ocean going tames. My praise to the map creator.

Valguero is fucking massive. It has a lot of biomes, Ocean and has a literal ab... Biggest map by far.

Unless you're on a cluster that has any of the three other free maps, then you would need to use this cave to tame your underwater creatures.
Stealing underwater eggs would be terrifying.

Basilo damage is based on how much water is above them. Since this is a cave there isn't much so they don't take damage

My only issue is that this underground ocean is alot of space with not much to do. Black pearls and tames are there but thats it. No secret cave entrances or anything.

yes i found 1 on a official server, was close to the entrance on the sea bed, hidden between seed weeds, only one i found before dying

Live there. Get 1000 oxygen and only go for air once in a while.

@@NPC-vg8kx i have 1000 oxygen right now with 4 laz youre down there for about 45-60 minutes are you thinking 10000 by chance?
1000 oxygen down there would result in 90% of time spent travelling back and forth, just for oxygen. Any drugs we may be on don’t compare to the crack you must be smoking. Scuba tanks all day, if you must only equip scuba tank to refill your oxygen then unequip to make your tanks last a lot longer. Talking about 1000 oxygen like you have no experience in the ocean.

They're a rare spawn, but they do spawn.

Sadly the under water creatures don't spawn there is a glitch tusos please and Mosas don't spawn on certain servers they spawn when an update and when a roll back happens it's sad 😫

Unfortunately the devs havent supported the ocean since the island, and no other official map even has an ocean. Sadly theres really no reason to visit the ocean in valguero besides maybe black pearls, or you like getting mosas and squids stuck in the shallow lake above. Maybe it has some sneaky uses in pvp for getting around and escaping, but its very disappointing they didnt put an artifact down there at least. Most people will likely visit it once or never
If you wear a gas mask you can see a lot better in water. Less foggy.
Ya know what would be nice IF HE TOLD US THE COORDINATES OF THE FREAKIN ALTERNATE EXITS/ENTERS. I have a base right next to one . But i don't have time to go looking for the Enter.
