I've watched literally HUNDREDS of RV videos and tours. I have NEVER had anyone show me the windshield cover OR that AMAZING 12v cooker! Thank you! These things are amazing and I'll be adding them to my list of things to get for my RV.
You are in for a treat. 99.9% of RoadTrek owners do not know this secret as it is not in the manuals. You indicated that you would like more counter space. This is amazing. I owned two Roadtreks and found this out. Open the drawer on the left side of your sink and reach up under it. If you pull out you will find an extra counter top that rests on the drawer. This is no joke. We use it all the time since we saw this on line. Just wanted to pass this on to you and other RT owners. Hope you enjoy this tip. It is the best kept secret in RoadTrek class Bs. 😉 Ken
Thank you for the tip Ken. I have known about that but mine absolutely does not have it. If you only knew how many times I checked before giving up. LOL...It never magically appeared. I do have an extra pull out counter space under the bread box though. Have a Blessed day!
The Roadtreks can seem a little dark and closed in with all the wood. I love my van. As vanners say, we don't live in our vans, we live out of our vans. The great outdoors is our living room. 😎
I wish I could too. Life with Jazzy has made that more difficult but I'm gradually getting rid of more stuff so that this chaos can return to a peaceful retreat.
Great van tour! Thank you for showing us your home. You've got it all organized and figured out. Fun to see how everyone makes their own accommodations. Happy travels!!
Thanks for the tour. Just what I needed. My sister just bought a 2000 Road Trek. I found it on Marketplace. Great find. Now I want to sell my 24 ft Minnie Winnie and get my own. Hope to see you at KOKO Fest again this year.
Oh, I so hope your sister makes some great memories in her Roadtrek!!...and that you are able to find one. A 24 ft Minnie Winnie sounds like a pretty nice home on wheels in the meantime though. I wish I could make it to KOKO fest to see everyone but am unable to be there this year. 😥
Love this van style ✨️ Lol 😅 i've actually considered selling my current 2016 Roadtrek Zion RV for one of these. Down-sizing to this would be super easy!
Great tour and all the tips you shared!! I have to agree the gift of the white fan has been a game changer! I use mine all the time!!! Love the display of last winter's cards!!! ❤️
Awesome to have a tour of your home and some great tips. I thought you had clothes in the pillow, that is a ton of bags. Love your bungee cord trash bag handle, and the binger clips for bungees.
HELLO....I have found a Roadtrek, 1999 190 P and yes I am happy. Just 2 days ago so I am cleaning and figuring out what I need to have fixed and such before I go any place. You gave me several ideas to help set up and organize it. I have it for a "bug out vehicle" if needed and the occasional outing for weekend or any road trips. Any other youtubers you may like to share that also have the RT's would be nice. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS VIDEO AND BE SAFE AND ENJOY LIFE.....hugs
Thank you Marcella!! I am certainly living my best life in my adventure van!! The only other TH-camr I know with a RT is The Dan Van. He's a great guy and you would probably enjoy his channel. I'm sure you will fall in love with your Roadtrek. It's a fabulous way to enjoy some down time and have adventures. Blessings and Hugs
My previous RV was the same model RT, ‘cept my had the fixed bed in back and the smaller dinette table in front. In mine, both the front passenger’s and driver’s seat’s rotated and there were back seats on both sides of the aisle. That van was SO COMFORTABLE to ride in. It was ultimately too small for me, my dog and 2 cats, but I did love it. The tips you share are excellent and I think I can use some of them in my Class C. Thanks, @Shalom on the Roam!
Love love love your RT tour Donna and from City of Rocks too! I have never seen such an in depth look at all the awesomeness of the RT and I love how you have made it your own with all your special touches. Gotta find me one of those fans! Hope you are doing well out there on the road and stay safe!
Thanks for the tour. I think you have it set up very nice and comfortable!! Love it. I hope to find one at some point. I think that would give me just what I need.
The older Roadtreks and Pleasure Ways were designed so well and provide a great functional space. Keep a look out and you just might find a deal you can't pass up.
My previous RV was the same model RT ( a Chevy, instead of a Dodge). Mine had the fixed bed in back and the smaller dinette table in front. That was a fun video Donna you’ve got it really organized which is so important when you’re living in a small space. I did a video on my travel trailer last summer. It was one of my most watched videos, guess people just enjoy seeing how we nomads live LOL. Take care and safe travels.
I love your breakdown of your rig. I bought a 98d190p but haven’t taken it out yet. I would love to learn more of how everything works. Like the generator, power, stove etc. maybe you can create some content of the learn/how to
Thank you. I hope you are able to start getting out and enjoying your Roadtrek very soon. I will keep in mind to do a tutorial. That is a great suggestion and I'm sure it could be helpful to many.
Living in your space helps refine the arrangement more than anything. I traveled quite a bit this summer so I did some minimizing before hand in order to make it easier to get going again after a night or two.
Thanks for sharing your van and great tips for storage and usage in a small space 😊 Did you make the wooden chain you have hanging above your kitchen area? My dad and his brothers all made some similar to yours many years ago. Im sure your grandpa Oscar made some as well. I have a small one cousin Louise’s Dad made for me when I was young which I’ll cherish always ❤️ Be safe Happy Trails 🤗
I wish I had the talent to make the chains. One was made by my grandpa, one by my brother. I cherish them both. The Maddux brothers had a lot of talent! By the way, Luke was one of my favorite unkles. I have a couple great memories of him.
I have a bus 9 window window plus handicap door it's too big for me with my disabilities so I'm looking to sell it and I'm gonna look for something like you have that's just what I need I'm gonna be part time for awhile if I like it I'll go full time but I'm gonna keep a home base but you did a fantastic job on yours. Stay safe stay strong stay healthy God bless and enjoy life🎄✌💖💪👨🍳🎅🚌👏👍
Part time is probably a good idea if you are not yet sure. I like having something tall enough to stand in yet small enough to drive with relative ease, park, and to not accumulate stuff I don't need. Shalom and Blessings.
Yeah. I love meeting fellow trekkers!! I do drive with the passenger seat backwards. I just try to make sure it's reclined so it doesn't interfere with the view in the passenger mirror.

It was really fun to watch

Wow, that’s fabulous. Very nice window cover.
The window cover is a great investment!
Love These Type Vans. I Be Telling People To Face The Sun And Cover The Outside Of The Windshield
The cover does prevent a ton of heat from coming in!
