It's time to build! I'm going with a shapeshifter build focusing on both Elf & Wolf synergies. I'll have a light emphasis on +1/+1 counter doubling and ways to protect Voja or make it unblockable.
I also chose to focus on both elfs and wolfs plus some shapeshifters to get the most out of the synergies. I added a way of giving all my creatures trample, doubling counters, making tokens, and one or two options for additional combat phases. It's more of a fun way to build this deck, but I prefer to keep it as pleasureable as possible for me rather than as powerful and competetive as possible (since I don't use proxy except for some tokens it's hard for me to find $1k to build Voja on a powerful level so I just keep it at power level 7 with the future option for level 8 :p).
helm of the hoast does work in this deck, creating a copy pre combat of Voja or other high hitting evles is lit. The helm removes the legendary text so it works well.
I'm building using every mana elf known to mankind with the goal of casting him on turn 3 and hopefully snowballing out of control with removal and protection spells to keep me afloat.
yeah. i brewed one with dorks and changelings. its just too fast, pumps everybody, and draws u cards so u always have protection vs board wipes. voja is unfair
Inherently strong af; no fun way to build this where others wont just want to insta kill voja. Elves didnt need a 3 color commander, and no one building wolves with him when a couple elves makes him a 2 shot commander win.
@@nicholasbruce4124 the main issue is that players cannot self govern power, so because of that edh is constantly power crept. No one needs to play the inherently broken commanders in casual, win before turn 6, use all the fast mana, etc…wotc cant print a card but doesn’t mean you have to use it. If edh and cedh were seperate and a clear power level is stated for casual edh, then pickuo games at the lgs would be better for everyone. New players and old alike should be able to play a precon in a pod or use a non optimized deck and be able to have a game. Not every high power deck is cedh, but the mentality the same and i truly think that is a 60 card mentality and not a casual 4 player mentality.
When you open your prerelease box and see ''Relive the Past'' as your Foil Rare: meh...and than you see what's behind: Voja Jaws of the Conclave *Airhorns go off! Before I watch the video: A Naya commander that can have Infinite combat steps with Aggravated assault, Draw deck, play anything from the mana dorks untapping: lets gooooo!!!!!!! After watching video: Cool fun ideas, especially on Shalai and Hallar having them hide in the 99 as the proverbial bogeyman= scary... - I was thinking for giggles to add Maskwood Nexus, now they are Wolf Elves and they are howling mad at you for messing up their tea party! - Elvish Champion loves Yavimaya cradle of Growth combined with aforementioned Maskwood Nexus now everything you have is unblockable Bottom line: This deck could probably even just go infinite with Ham Impact Tremors sandwich and a pack of elf token loop Crisps, lots of potential for this deck :P
Pick up these or any cards here! tcgplayer.pxf.io/daARK7 help the channel at no extra cost to you!
I'll admit, I was expecting one of the ways to build him was with changelings. Cause they are both elves and wolves.
Buddy of mine pulled this and immediately starting building that night
Building this currently as I watch this! Good timing! 😁
Hope you enjoy it!

I built the deck and did a Voja theme using all three of the Tolsimir cards. Then I just put near every elf I had in my collection lol
