- Y'all, we just found our new favorite hotel in Orlando. And in case you didn't know, Orlando has more hotels than people so it's kind of a big deal. It's The Wave Hotel in Lake Nona and it is epic. The Wave Hotel is in the rapidly growing planned community of Lake Nona and just a short drive from the Orlando airport, Disney, and Universal property. This is one of the most technologically advanced hotels IN THE WORLD (yes, you read that right). It features $10,000 Japanese toilets in every room, various functions that are controlled through the app or fun in-room buttons, and a sleek design that will make you feel like a fancy traveler. And on top of all that, it is also a full art exhibit, with unique art pieces throughout the lobby and a 50,000 square foot sculpture garden in the backyard. Y’all that hotel has style! The bars, the spaces, the music, the vibes! And that room! Looks like some ex imagineers had a hand in that! Love the technology. The nespresso is a great touch. And that IPad. So neat. Pool yes please. What a chicken sando. Lo3great mixology bars. That bull was my favorite. He might identify as a female you never know these days.
That bull comment had us literally laughing out loud. We were telling the truth-we really don’t get most art 😂. But you are right because the Wave does have so much style. It’s a beautiful property. They also have day passes for the pool and the restaurants are open to non-hotel guests, so it’s worth a trip even if you aren’t staying there. And the sculpture garden will be great for Ellie!
That Japanese toilet looks like quite the adventure 😂. I think I’ll stick with my regular one.
