@@TravisStevensgrappling For those of us who are not professionals athletes in judo, it is very difficult to practice foot sweeps, not only because of the lack of tutorials but because the dojos do not usually deepen too much in them, I guess because the senseis assume that most students prefer goshi waza. For us, foot sweeps is something that has to be drilled outside class hours.
Thank you very much,Travis. I am 47 and I always wanted to learn the basics of judo. Great video
This is gold! A whole DVD about foot sweeps could be a hit, cause there's too much hip stuff out there but almost nothing about foot sweeps.
Foot sweep looks easy but hard to execute
That’s actually a great idea. I might have to start working on that.
Yeah the dvd would have to include drills to help develop proper timing
@@TravisStevensgrappling I will gladly buy that Sensei. Just like Roy Dean Bluebelt Requirement

I have watched this super video at least 20 times...excellent 👍
Love that. Thanks very much, Travis.
My pleasure!
Excellent
What is the reason of the 45“ angle with the hips instead of just keeping the back straight? Is it for power or reach?
