I have a lot of fond memories of sitting on the couch, watching and re-watching Kiki's Delivery Service, recorded on a blank videocassette from that one time it aired on TV, back when I was a kid.
I'm 25 now. The VCR stopped working years ago, and I don't even know what happened to the tape. But hearing that cheerful, relaxing music again is bringing it all back. Thank you.

Guess what? It's now available on these new-fangled thingies called DVDs. 😆 I bought myself one of them just 'cos I like the movie, same as you. Also several other Ghibli movies. 🤩 I also ripped the DVDs to ISO so I could play them on my computer through VLC Media Player (the greatest media player on Earth in my opinion) and so they won't be lost if my discs get scratched.

It sounds so authentic and good even though the original instrument isn't the Guitar 😍 I find it incredible how you could just casually tune the E String to D midway without even checking and it's still in tune 😦

Sounds amazing, I was planning on learning this on my classical too. If you haven't already you should play Naushika OST - The Valley of the Wind. People might hate me for this but, I enjoy the guitar version way better. Simply add forte or crescendo even some other dynamics and articulations you feel work well and it becomes an amazing piece. Once again great playing, and you are so good! Other pieces you should try maybe:

2. Learn how to hear harmony
3. Dont be afraid of simplyfing lines to make them undertandable.

Nice job sporting that! Yes, they're two different ways of plucking the strings, the first one is with "palm muted" and using the flesh of my fingers instead of the nails, and the second one is the normal what with just the nails, and no plan nutting, so the strings have more space to sound, and thus giving it a more lively sound and movent
No one is noticing the fact that he changes the tuning in the middle of the song ? Very unusual !! As always an amazing arrangement.

Thanks ^^ for many years now i tunne up and dow every day the 6th string, so i got a feel now to know how many turns i have to do to get from E to D.. Raughly 1 1/2 turns!
