My favourite 80's movie The Wraith was filmed there, i drove all the way from canada end of march 2024 to see Tucson, spectacular I cant wait to go back
This is by far the best video of Saguaro National Park. First, it's 2 hours long, not 10 or 20 minutes like most others. Also, there's no one popping their less than mediocre faces into the video, trying to be the star of the show. You let the scenery speak for itself. No unnecessary commentary either, or weird sound track. It truly feels like I'm actually there, driving through the park. Lastly, you actually spent the $25 admission to enter the park. One of my fave TH-camrs didn't want to shell out the $25 and thus drove outside the Park, not within, which I felt was cheap. So, kudos from me for what it's worth... I love Saguaro Cactus videos, and this one is the best! Superbly done... Definitely going to the top of my Meditational playlist. 👍
Glad to hear it! We definitely like letting the superb scenery speak for itself and love showing it off! Thanks for the feedback and thanks for riding along with us! ❤️
Great video of a very special part of the American West. Being older and in poor health, we're no longer able to travel, but your videos are a wonderful remembrance of many places we once visited and enjoyed. Thank you! ❤
I hope you don't mind the running commentary. The cacti thru Golden Gate Road are gorgeous. They look plumped up like it was a good rainy season for them. Do you know how long it takes a cactus normally to reach such heights? Look it up and then I promise you wont feel so old. I have fond memories of dirt roads as a child and can still smell the dust and taste the dirt from the back seat while eating a bologna sandwich and watching the road. Haha thank you so much.
I love this part of the country! been on this drive myself and you really get a sense for how remote some stretches of this great country really are when you're out there and on the Mogollon.
Perfect time for this, the saguaros were very plump from a very wet winter. They expand in wet times and contract during dry times. They are the most spectacular in just the conditions you experienced.
Fantastic!..very relaxing and excellent filming..haven’t been there in over 50years, but we really enjoyed the ride, scenery and quiet beauty..subbed..thank you for this👍
Of all the videos you have posted this is one of the very best. One day God willing I will get to see some of the places that you have allowed me to see. Thank you again for posting the videos. God bless you
Ah it is so good to be able to see your videos again. My daughter and her husband got me a new computer for Mothers Day when mine broke down. The Arizona desert is so home to me. There is nothing like a forest of Saguaro and you can be sure there are javelina out there. I love your off road drives and Hohokam fits that bill. Thank you son for giving me a taste of home. :D
Beautiful open country drive on a gorgeous day I'm jealous I noticed something flying in the sky at about 1:47 it disappears momentarily Anyway thanks for sharing The sights
20 years ago I lived off Picture Rocks road. How many more houses... but most of the other roads are still the same. Only lots more of side of the road stops, and I remember only 1 visitor center... and no toll roads! Ah a drive down memory lane. Bless you !

Absolutely mesmerising views of Saguaro National Park! 🌵🚗 The desert landscape and those iconic cacti are truly a sight to behold. Did you spot any wildlife during the drive, or have any tips for the best time of day to experience this stunning park?
When I was in the boy's brigade in England in the 70s. very similar to the scouts movement . We were always told if you walk on a road , always walk on the side so you can see the car approaching you Them people were walking on the wrong side. The car would have approached them from behind (2153). unless they are british , lol Because as far as I know I have never met anybody , who can see behind them?🤔🏴🇬🇧z

The adult cacti are around 125 years old! That's incredible they're able to survive for so long out in those harsh conditions!
I love the solitude of deserts 🌵🌵🌵 this is wonderful 👏 amazing driving through this fantastic place. Thank you very much!
Us too, just something about being in the desert that we love. Thanks so much for watching!
So do I...
The native cacti are spectacular. It is rarely seen in our country. The blue sky was beautiful again.
They sure are, they’re a lot bigger in person than we’d figured they would be the first time we saw them.

What a wonderful video. The image is cristal clear and very estabilized. What type of vehicle are you driving? like a Toyota 4 Runner?

Just stunning, a dream of mine to drive through the states. What camera do you use to film this? The quality is amazing.
Very nice and splendid scenic drive! Please let me know the camera you used for this capture!
I wounder how it might be watching the sky there at night...
really quite fine
@@Ro-Zizz Have you been there at night ?
The park is quite close to the city of Tucson, but there should still be some nice stargazing there!

What a green desert. Can we really call this a desert?
Saguaro cacti only grow in the Sonoran Desert

It's a good idea when on foot, especially now with so many people texting and driving and being so distracted.
Would love to know what camera/equipment you use. Love these videos.
Saguaro Cactus 🌵 are the Most Abundant near Tuscon Arizona .
Elsewhere Their Population is very Sparse .

Arizona , Nevada , New Mexico and Utah are just a desert
You haven’t seen much of the Southwest have you… They’re not all desert, especially Utah. Arizona has lots of forest land too.
And? It's fucking beautiful both day and night
Yeah, why bother about sidewalks, bike lanes, places to stop
We like to build as little as possible inside our national parks. Go cry about it
