This is exactly what I was telling Genshin all those years, it encourages exploration and people will actually start doing some crazy stuff, but when you use waypoints it becomes repetitive and boring and doesn't give a chance to appreciate the overworld
They need to improve old map here and there rendering ...even with previous even the one where you go zoom with cat paws....had problems rendering with that fast movement.... imagine with this flight speed suddenly add to old map....even mob gonna take minutes to load

Flight is great in Wuwa. My only concern is… it seems to be a region specific mechanic. I kinda wished we could use the flight gadget everywhere but it’s understandable why they didn’t go that route. Flight mechanic might be difficult to top in future regions, unless say… we start swimming underwater where flight is not used or something similar.
its been said that flight wasnt added to base map yet due to how the map was made, probably a shading issue or texture issue in the sky, im sure they are working on making it a global thing.
They will probably add it in the future. They did add the sprint boost buff and implemented it in Rinascita so I do think them adding the flight mechanic wouldn't be an issue. But what I want most is them adding echoes that we can mount on like those boat-like echos in Rinascita
Personally, i dont see them planning to implement flight for the previous regions, main reason being that jinzhou is not designed with flight as their concern. It's easy enough to explore that map, and if they have to implement it anyway, that'll take time. However, for future regions, im 100% sure they'll implement it someway. No normal developer would think like "oh they like this flight mechanics but sadly they cant use it in future regions, its okay they'll get used to it" and just call it a day. It's their chance to keep brand loyalty among customers. Maybe instead of using wings, we can use jetpacks or something, or they can try a new diving mechanics just like what you told.
Verticality brings a lot of glitches in any game...i mean A LOT LOT, especially if the game is made without Verticality in mind at first. If they are not executing it well they'll just bring more negative reviews to the game. Since flight mechanic is not tied to the Rinasicta lore, im 80% positive that they will bring the flight mechanic to another region as well, they just need time to cook.
oh not to mention, you may have Flight Race in Co-op at Oakheart high court, there will be infinite stamina flight but still in Circular way just like a mini Circuit... still you may 1 on 1 race with friend and the other one become the reverie.. haaha the quest is i forgot somthing with Color , palettte somthing..
You know what I don't like about flying? I can't fly outside Rinascita, maybe I need to max stamina first? BUT I really hoped I could fly around the mountains, Jinshou or Black Shores
When you try to fly outside Rinascita, you get a advice saying you can't do it YET. Probably they will upgrade it to be possible on the previous regions
I like a lot the new exploration system.... like you can easily find the challenges, boxes and monsters in the maps that I wasn't overwhelmed... I supose that from now on things will have to be on this standard
I'd like to announce that I 100% all the areas YESTERDAY just by flying everyday. I didn't use browser maps or the loot mapper, it just happened naturally and I didn't even notice it.. Flying is so fun 😅. And now I'm closer to the next patch. What a treat.

Honestly, the flight system isn't the only thing worth praising in Wuthering Waves. The way chests, challenges, and side quests are distributed across the map is also impressive. Believe me, it's the best system I've seen in any gacha game I've ever played. Man, all you have to do is open the map, choose the exact area you want to explore, and it will show you how many chests, quests, and challenges are left. Exploration has become so much easier and more enjoyable because of this. Personally, I love the kind of challenge that requires me to fight under specific conditions or fulfill certain requirements-not just "kill the enemy and get your reward."😅
The game is getting fun, fresh and enjoyable every update. 2.0 is my fav so far. I love exploring just cause of the flying system, I even forgot what a teleport is. I only have 2 areas at 💯 from the 1.0 areas, and I honestly don’t care much about 💯 areas but Im pretty sure I’ll clear the 2.0 areas cause I’m just staying there running and flying all the time 😅😂 I’m addicted now 🦅🧚♀️
The funny thing is for me even though flying is the most fun, most of the times I still explore on land lmao, I mean jumping with cuddle wuddle, sting ray gliding, illusive sprint and the gondola are all still fun and that most of the activities are still on the ground anyways. But then again goofing around and doing crazy dive bombs against the local TD's are crazy fun I'm spending more time flying around than doing other stuff or even quests 🤣
I Love flying so much, I Actually prefer it over fast-travelling. I now only fast-travel if something I need is over 1.5km away. Anything less than that is just me flying and admiring the map.
I too thought that flight shouldn't be implemented to the older maps but for how freakin good and balance Kuro made the flight system, i actually felt like it might work perfectly even to the older maps. It is bonkers how kuro is doing these QoL.

I hope we can get a motorcycle like Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X in CyberPunk and it can be customized, like larger fuel tank, stronger engine or built in mounted gun. I know this seems a bit too much, but knowing Kuro, they will cook.

Play on Ultra Performance (low everything, features turned off), 24fps-this is the setting Kuro forces you to play on mobile-and tell me if you're honestly happy playing with potato-quality, 240p graphics (NPCs literally have smudgy dots for eyes). For comparison, I play HSR and other live service games on the same device just fine: minimal lag, stutters, server kicks, or any of the maladies of WW that keep occurring. But that's just me. Happy for you guys.
may be your device is too old? I am playing on ip15 pro and it's fine, mainly plays with pc though. But yeah I agree hoyo optimizes their mobile version way better.
I play WuWa mainly with my phone (S23 Ultra Samsung) and it runs smoothly at 55 ~ 60FPS. I also play it on my iPad Pro M1 60 FPS too. Maybe its because you have a crappy phone and it needs to be replaced

I play mobile only but on a 5 year old Ipad Pro 13 inch. It runs smoothly on the highest settings.
