at this point I'm so sure I'm gonna like every video that I didn't even read the title. not when I put it in my watch later, not when I scrolled past it a dozen times in my subscription box. and when I finally clicked on it I realized that I don't even know what kind of video I'm about to watch :'D

I'm not sure if you ever care to take advice from a nobody, but every single person on youtube doing ASMR acts like they're role playing with a real person there, but you're talking to us and we can't talk back, so why do you ask questions when there's not going to be an answer? I don't know if everyone on youtube doing ASMR realizes how much that is NOT ASMR. You take away from the whole experience and ruin any triggers when you act like there's an open line of communication. Can't you just be original and make a video where you treat the viewers like the audience instead of pretending? Ultimately ASMR should be done in person, but all the ASMR artists that are coming in to make a buck are simply copying those before them, so everyone measures, everyone does stupid cranial nerve exams, now it's follow me around the screen. Once one person does something halfway creative, everyone copies and in a matter of weeks originality is gone, again. I don't mean to rant, because you have a gift, but is there anyway you can come up with something original that maybe revolves around your interests? I've seen people read harry potter, I've seen asmr with cats purring, and I like that kind of originality. You could find your own niche, which might be something about computers, camping, books, cars, gardening, sewing, the matrix, star trek, or just anything, but make it something that interests you, because then you'll be passionate and then treat us like your audience. Don't ask questions. What I like - and what is at the root of ASMR - is the act of it. The gazing. The personal attention. Think about when you were at the hair dresser and s/he was thumbing through your hair and whispering something in your ear as she reached around behind you, leaning in. Bing. That sensation sends goose bumps up the arm, and a tingling through the brain. That's ASMR. Doesn't anyone get that? I know there's a lot of people that will say your videos are great, they help them relax, maybe even fall asleep, but if that's your goal, then don't call it ASMR, because that's NOT ASMR. ASMR is ALL about triggers, plain and simple. And every time you ask a question, that detracts from the goal of invoking and sustaining triggers. It's why too many people on youtube are posers. They don't get it. I think you have potential to be really good at this, but you need to stop copying others, get original, and better understand what ASMR is. To all the ASMR "artists" who come to youtube simply to make a buck - which is probably 99% of them - I suppose you'll ignore me, but if you really want a massive following, you have to carve your own path. And if you do it right, you could be a millionaire. Nurture the people who are being nice - so they'll continue to follow you - but you need to listen to people who are trying to help, so you can grow. I mean, how long you been doing this? How many of your videos have a million views? How many subscribers do you have? How many do you want? sorry for the length, but I see potential, I just don't see any real creativity here. So I'm not liking and I'm not subscribing. Yet. I doubt anyone will read all of this, but feel free to tell me how stupid I am. I'm open to criticism, because nobody's perfect. But as much as everyone wants to label me the bad guy, I am trying to help.
tmtr, but I read it and I agree. Tube is infiltrated with posers hoping to make a buck and it's making for a lame experience. TH-cam doesn't seem to employ anyone that's helping to filter the trash. There's far too many videos from people that are clueless. I don't logon much anymore.
