Hello everyone ! Thank you for watching this video ❤ We've received many question about the size of hoop or length of cord / number of cord using. We have actually stated every single details in the scene , you may have missed it. Here is the information, for more details kindly refer to the scene.
Cord Length
Step 1: 4 pcs x 2.2meters
Step 2: 16 pcs x 1.8meters
Step 3: 16 pcs x 1.7meters
Step 4: 6 pcs x 1.6meters
Leaves: 45 pcs x 30 centimeters (optional depend on how many leaves you wish to create)

Is this a waxed cord? Just curious as I see you cut and burn and I’m wondering if it has to be waxed cord to burn and have it hold?

What type of cording did you use here? Was it waxed? Or is it Chinese knotting cord? I'd really like to try to make this but I'm relatively new to macrame and I want to make sure I get the right supplies.

Thank you 😊 maybe you can try with thinner yarn , not sure how solid it will be but if its too thick then it will be fluffy. Try make 1 piece of leaf first then you can see the result to decide.
What's the diameter size, in cm, from the circle you used to do the tree?

If you want to use a circle of 30 cm what length strings should you take?
1: 4 x 4.40 cm?
2: 16x 3.60 cm?
3: 16x 3.40 cm?
4: 6 x 3.20 cm?
And should I take a double length of the leaves (45x 60 cm)?
Or more sheets of the same length strings?
Hi Carl, you can try with the formula you mentioned, it should be more than enough, but we couldn't 100% confirm with you as we havent try 30cm hoop yet. And when you write 4.40cm ,it should be 4.4 meters/ 440cm. For leaves, it depend on how big you want it to be, lets say if you want it bigger than should be longer than 30cm. And yes , Increase the quantity of green strings as 30cm hoop is much bigger.

omgoodness you are amazing. I'm short this year to purchase Christmas gifts, but I have a few odds and ends of crafting material. I made a macaramae hang plant holder out of some rope I used to tight rhings down in the truck when moving .
and a coathanger. The top was just rapped in rope I was your video and thought it would really look nice with the tree of life inside the coathanger. Hello, for the hanger, the size of the ring used is Approximately 1.6cm. Is this measure given in Radius or Diameter of the circle?
The size mentioned is diameter 😊 usually ring size will be measure in diameter when you buy from any craft shop.
