- Joe Rogan and John Wayne Parr Hit mitts and work on john waynes unique power jabbing.
This is different footage then the popular video of them sparring and hitting mitts.
This wasn't put up out until 2019. Im a Big fan of John Wayne Parr who recently retired and will return to Joe Rogans podcast in early January.

I had a boxing opponent who had a lighting fast jab. And great coordination.
The first time I fought him I bought our DVD off our fight.
Before our rematch I watched it frame by frame and I recognised that he did what I do - and that is; he blinks his eyes on impact. To take a still frame in his mind of his fist connecting to examine the damage done by each punch.
I realised there was a moment of opportunity when he snaps out a fast jab at me.
He’d be blinded at the impact of his punch to my response.
I should not bother moving out of the way or blocking it but grit my teeth and know that is the starters gun to ram a powerful counter Jab through his chin.
The rematch won me the IBF Pan Pacific title.
Great stuff recognizing that. Its a big factor most dont recognize, they dont get used to keeping eyes on the punches when they are coming at them being able to adjust last second and not blinking when your throwing and of course sometimes its worth eating a jab to land that power counter

Jab would work in MMA cause it looks like you're fainting for a front kick, in boxing no, get counted, but you could modify it to work in boxing

Bags and pads are a complete waste of time for boxing. The book Blasting Boxing Myths by Al Praktik explains this in great detail. Not only are they no good but also harmful. Every fighter should read it and cut out the nonsense in their training
So you read a book and now you think that you truly know more about boxing than all professional trainers, all martial artists and all pro and amateur boxers throughout history

Rogans boxing is nowhere near his kicking level
his cross looked off at the end his shoulder goes t far down....the trick to boxing is to hit with speed which V =M x A but all these guys try to hit hard but they would surely fatigue in 3 rounds with that style

Except for that he has 130 something fights of which 99 are wins. He got 10 world championship belts and fought and won against Lumpinee stadium fighters. So safe to say, it works.

To be fair like any loaded up punch it'd be part of a combo of course if you walk up to someone just throwing it on it's own they aren't just going to stand there.
Pretty sure he knows enough setups given his experience to make that land, imagine ripping a body kick to make them drop the arm then drill them in the face a with that it'd be horrible.
